Disappointed ☹️ I would not recommend this place. The staff is kind and accommodating but the food itself is below average. I would give this restaurant another chance if they improve on their service and especially cleanliness.

EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC HUNAN CUISINE & Pittsburgh’s TOP CHINESE HOT POT. It’s true gustatory dining, very popular to the local ethnic Chinese, Japanese and Korean emigres especially among students of the local universities. It’s very busy during the weekends.

Great food, poor atmosphere and attention. Very singular plates that you cant easily find in other restaurants from different places in Asía.

Ordered two lunch specials and got charged for 2 dinner portions plus 4 dollar up-charge for fried rice. Nearly twice the cost of what I attempted to order over the phone. They may have online ordering, so definitely do that so you can make sure your order is correctly placed. Unfortunately I did not see the receipt until after I had paid and could not do anything at that point, but still frustrating because I repeatedly asked for the lunch special and it was repeated back so I assumed it was correct.

Large servings and authentic Hunan flavor. We asked for minimal oil and no MSG in all dishes, possible since my grandparents speak mandarin. Ordered way too much for four people but now we have yummy leftovers.

Got the orange beef and it was awful. I wanted it to go and waitress said 10 minutes, ended up being 25 minutes.

This place is amazing!!!!!! Tonight, we tried their hotpot, which was fabulous! A little pricey, but to celebrate an occasion or a nice date night, trust me this is sooo worst it! We tried the half white and half spicy broths. The broths were already complex and perfectly seasoned. The selection of the vegetables was very fresh and high quality! The meats were lovely as well. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and happy to help, seeing as it was our first time trying hot pot. In the end, we overstuffed ourselves, not wanting to waste any of the godly ambrosia at our fingertips. Looking around at other patrons getting their meals, everything looked wonderful! We heard a lot of yummy noises, plus saw a lot of happy faces. The place was packed! It’s no wonder why!

Amazing food. I had the pork belly lunch special and is was great! The place from the outside looks a little sketchy, but trust me, you want to go in, very clean and a great staff. The food came out super quick and was hot (temperature). They will make the food spicier if you want, mine was not spicy at all, but I like it that way. I definitely recommend if you want good sechezwan food!

Did not try the hot pot and instead ordered dishes. Some of the dishes were very yummy while others were not as good. Great for large gatherings- there are some big tables in the back.

Best chinese food in Pittsburgh with huge portions at great prices and delicious authentic food! Better than everything ive had in nyc as a person of chinese heritage growing up there. Highly recommend their beef malatong noodles, and any of the hunan specialties!
