We were very excited for this lunch as we have been to France and have local favorites. Sitting down to a sign saying we must pay for bread was a sign. The charcuterie left us wanting. No mustard, no sauce of any kind, no crackers, no crostini, no bread of any kind. How were we supposed to eat our pate? The clam chowder was great. The Croc Monsieur was okay. The Petite Bouillabaisse was forgettable. Mostly fish and calamari, two scallops, two shrimp. No clams, no mussels and the broth was meh. Oh, we were the only people inside while the streets were filled with people.

We went there for our anniversary and had a great time. They had a great special where we could (like restaurant week) each pick an app, entree, and dessert from a list of options for $42. I’ve always wanted to try bone marrow so we got that as an extra app. We each got clam chowder, he got beef Bourguignon and cheesecake, while I got raspberry duck and something similar to flan.

Located on the Main Street in Annapolis, this French style restaurant is worth the visit. Although it’s right on main st., this place is very quiet and perfect for families. The only negative for me is that we had to order our appetizers, main dish and desserts at the same time. I’ve never had that experienced before. My family and I felt a bit rushed like we had to be out at a certain time. No issues with the food, it was good. Overall, our experience was ok. We’ll come back but won’t be the first choice.

I am intrigued by the outside decoration with flowers and drawing on the window so I decided to try their food! They have a special early dinner menu for three courses at $42 dollar from 5-6.30 pm. With this type of special menu, I would typically order all three courses at once with it the ask from the waitress. But if they ask for you to order all at once, please do since it will help them with their time ao much.

Great dare night, or special occasion dinner. French inspired. The food was incredible. I ordered the duck with raspberry sauce. It was so tender and so delicious!

We had one of the best meals out in months at Cafe Normandie on Saturday, June 3. We ordered the special portobello mushroom with crabmeat, escargot, and scallop provencale. Everything was absolutely delicious, with so much flavor packed into every bite. We would highly recommend having dinner at Cafe Normandie if you’re in Annapolis!

Boy, did they try hard. The menu, decore, top knotch service and atmosphere. But… I’ve been to Paris a few times. Onion soup – just good. Chicken – rubbery but the mushroom sauce was very good. Veggies – interesting. Not great, but will be back.

The look of this place outside and in is gorgeous. I’ve been to France and the atmosphere here was very alike to the cafes there, very charming. The server was well and the food was lovely. Bread was fresh and warm, the Croque-Monsieur was made perfectly and nicely cooked to give a great taste of cheese, toasted bread, and ham.
