We enjoyed the food. My rib eye and shrimp was good! The servers didn’t know what a Roy Rogers was lol. We kept having to explain to them it’s Coke and grenadine. But they did make it and it was really good. The sodas though are served in really small cups.

Unfortunately we can only give 2 stars. We love the environment. The staff was friendly. The first app was really good and I’d recommend getting it if you ever come here. It was the CasaMaestros Choriqueso. Amazing! We then ordered the Molcajete with Shrimp and Steak. The steak was so over cooked it resembled shoe leather more than it did steak. The shrimp was so tough from being over cooked. It was so disappointing. It very well may have been the worst meal I’ve had in a very long time. The drinks were very small and full of ice. It was over priced for what you get. Again, nice people, beautiful place, very stylish. I so wanted to love this place. I strongly recommend they get a better chef and make some changes! I don’t see the owner ever replies to these google reviews which is disappointing. It means they don’t really listen to feedback. Sad.

Just had beer and salsa – the salsa was excellent! Friendly staff. New owners/management December 2022 so older reviews reflect the old owner.

At first, they were nice and welcoming, then they started to ignore me and my friends on each visit. I don’t know why, but I could feel that we were not welcomed anymore. The last time we went they made us wait 30 mins just to pay our bill…they didn’t pay attention to us until we were about to just leave without paying and they ran after us. We said that we wanted to pay but nobody would help us, they were apologetic about it but I could tell that there was something off about them. Not friendly or pleasant looking staff. Everyone looks so miserable. I don’t recommend this place, there’s something not right about them. We are looking for a new karaoke spot to enjoy.

I feel Casa Maestro makes and serves the best tasting Mexican food I’ve experienced. And I’ve been cooking good Mexican food for 63 yrs. Because of my age, I am happy to find this quaint restaurant that serves delicious food.

Go some place else. This place could be so much better. There were a total of 5 tables and they couldn’t manage that with 3 employees. We ordered drinks that they attempted to over charge us for ($30 dollars for just a cheese quesadilla and “margarita” is ridiculous. There wasnt even beans and rice with it). Most of the time, the woman and man sat around on their phones while one of the employees did his best. Our waiter appeared to have no idea what he was doing and couldn’t answer any questions, though he was nice/friendly. Our drinks were sent to another table and the female was basically having a whole conversation with the table about who ordered them. It took forever for us to get our food ( cheese quesadillas and tacos). My friends tacos came with rice and beans, which came out before her tacos AND THEY TRIED TO CHANGE HER FOR THEM separately. As others have said, the drinks are watered down. Pretty sure they didnt put alcohol in the margaritas and the michelada tasted like just tomato juice. Observing the other tables, they kept giving food to the wrong tables even when they were told “we didn’t order that” they still tried to give food to them. After supposedly being “open” for a year and a half, they shouldn’t be making these kinds of mistakes.

Our server was so nice and attentive to each and every one of our people. We were a large group with special needs and requests. The food was delicious.

It was our first time at Casa maestros. The food was pretty good, I had camarones a la plancha it came with rice beans some yummy onions and nopales and salad. Shrimps where perfectly cooked. My wife got a mojarra frita with garlic it was good too. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about was their tortillas. Seemed like they microwaved them so once I got my flour tortillas they were hard. The drinks are pretty good just not strong.

We enjoyed the food. But the service was very slow. They didn’t prepare accordingly. It was Mother’s Day! They only had 1 server and possibly the manager or owner. We requested a few things several times and yet, we were very patient about it. We hope this isn’t their norm.

We were looking for a place to have a teacher retirement party, and when someone recommended Casa Maestros, or House of Teachers, we thought it was perfect for the ocassion. We had about 30 people attend, and everyone had their choice of fajitas de pollo or fajitas de res, served with rice, beans, pico de gallo, tortillas, delicious grilled nopales, guacamole, grilled onions, 3 different types of salsas, and a gratuitous supersized margarita for the retireee to honor the ocassion. The staff was great and very attentive as to the needs of the guests. We highly recommend them if you are considering a venue for retirement purposes or just an ocassional social gathering. By the way, Cynthia was very helpful, and overall, awesome. The music was a bit loud, but it was turned down upon request.
