This is one of the best BBQ places I ever was! All the food was amazing. I had brisket, Pulled Pork with Mac n Cheese and jalapeno cheddar cornbread (absolutely amazing). The brisket was tender and juicy, the pulled pork a little oversmoked, but still perfect. The BBQ Sauces are also amazing. I also liked the American style of the place. I will definitely come back.

I recommend just getting your food to go and not having to eat around the boxes soon plopped on the tables. We read the sign coming in and were eating as fast as we could. Open tables to be had but felt incredibly rushed by the waitress the whole time “you still eating” with our forks in hand felt like a food challenge trying to shovel faster to leave. She was nice and I get it but that was extra. Meat was barely warm. The ribs and brisket had a good flavor. The bbq sauce I had (idk which one it was a blur) was nice and would like to try the others but next time “to go” or brave the heat at the outside seating area for some peace. The guys behind the counter were friendly.

A must try! The chicken was so delicious and flavorful! Burnt ends were good but a little too charred for my liking. The cornbread pudding was delicious! Very friendly and attentive staff! Will definitely be back!

Definitely top 3 BBQ spots in Wichita; could be #1 depending on what you like… I’m a huge burnt ends guy, so that’s my go to. But upon more visits, Station 8 makes a delicious brisket and ribs AND their sides are awesome.

Had the Baby Yeti with smoked Mac and Cheese. Ate half and have enough for at least one more meal at home. Rich smoke coming off of these that you can smell and taste. The sweet peach bbq sauce was very nice as well. Service whether you are dining in or not is VERY friendly and helpful. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

So far I have tried the brisket, chicken, turkey, jalapeno cheddar hot links, bologna, ribs, green beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese, baked beans, sweet sauce, sweet peach sauce, and apple pie. It was all very good. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! The people that run this restaurant do a very good job with getting people there orders quickly and efficiently. They are only open Wednesday through Saturday 11-2pm. We got there around noon and got everything we wanted to try. We will definitely be back! We got enough for 6 meals!

I love the ambience of this place as much as I love the taste! The BBQ is delicious, so come early to get some while you can! They are only open during lunch hours, and only make a certain amount every day, so once they run out for the day, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow! They also have some killer homemade bbq sauces! I will definitely be coming back!

I travel for work. And look for real good BBQ. An electrician on my job site told me that I should go to Station 8 BBQ. Station 8 BBQ has awesome BBQ. I ordered the small Yeti!! I was awesome. Had six different kinds of meats that they have. Comes with one side. I highly recommend the jalapeno cornbread. You like real good BBQ, you need to go.

First time here… My husband and I have been to over 200 BBQ Joints…The food here is in my top 10…. IMO it’s better than most in K.C…. It is like K.C. Meets Texas… Brisket has a wonderful flavor and Bark… ribs are amazing… turkey is awesome… we bought a bit of everything, have not tried the chicken yet. The Mac n cheese is cheesy and full of flavor.The beans are very good, not my flavor but they are good. The sauces all are different and bring something to the table, the sweet is my fave. It’s not to sweet, but has back bone. I have a feeling they will outgrow the building, may have to find another fire station to open another joint.
