Tried last night. I got pan seared scallops which come in this amazing lemony sauce with pancetta. Absolutely delicious. It came with a starch (I chose spaghetti) and veggie (chose broccoli). The broccoli was great, in a buttery, garlicy sauce.

Best Italian in the area, I have yet to be disappointed. I have had the veal piccatta (pictured), cacio e pepe, Italian pork chop, and several appetizers. Everything is fresh and handmade, wine list is decent and they are slowly rolling in cocktails. The ambiance is low key, and perfect for date night or going out with friends. My only drawback is that only 1 seafood dish is mollusk-free (allergy).

Enjoyed the food and service. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked. The meal portions were great. I didn’t even think of reaching for salt or pepper because the food came from the kitchen flavorful. I had the veal parmigiana and my wife enjoyed the lasagna. Both of our cocktails were prepared well and quickly.

Great food! My meal was wonderfully flavorful and well seasoned. The bread was delicious and the drinks were good as well. Unfortunately service was very VERY slow. It took about an hour from when we ordered to get our meals, and two of us got pasta dishes (aka no meat) and the other had a salad so we are not sure what took so long (it was not crowded). Fortunately, once we had our meals, the flavors made up for the wait!

Fresh fresh fresh fresh fresh…. Did I mention fresh? This place is a hidden gem and is a must go to for Italian food. They have good pasta bowls and wine deals on Tuesdays. They make the pasta fresh there and the menu is very large. Craving there eggplant pram as I’m writing this. Its so hard to try new things because I’m so addicted to a few main meals. They haven’t really been open during the pandemic so I would call before driving over here.

Let me start by saying It is pretty bad when you need to stop at McDonald’s after paying $80 for dinner. This was our first time trying this place. To start our sodas were really flat. After ordering I will say the bread was very nice and soft and enjoyed it but the oil left a lot to be desired. After waiting honestly way too long for what we ordered, we got our dishes. I was immediately taken back by how tiny the portions were. The sauces were really not good and were reminiscent of chef Boyardee. We eat out quite a bit and I’ve never encountered this before. We ate our dishes in what felt like a few bites. Our server was nice and I don’t fault him for the experience. I’m honestly shocked that this place can compete with a much larger and fancier Italian restaurant down the road. One in which my exact same dish tonight is 9.99 there yet $14 here and half the portion and flavor.

Magnificant food! Wonderful decor. Warm and inviting dining areas. Friendly and professional staff. I had an exceptional experience from drinks to appetizers, to main course, to dessert, and topped it off with robust coffee. I will be returning with more friends to share this fantastic Italian gem!

I wanted to love this place since I love it’s sister restaurant Riverhouse, but unfortunately it just doesn’t hit the mark. Two of our four dishes were bland and flavorless, the other two were better but not stellar. The homemade pasta is good, but sauces need work. Wine list is very limited, without many Italian imports. Service is friendly, but it still feels like they are working out the kinks.

Honestly, very good. Staff was attentive and friendly, pasta dishes great, chicken parmesan was probably the best we ever had. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5, calamari app was entirely tentacles and peppers, with literally a single “ring” in the whole dish. Was good… Just used the cheaper parts of the animal. Only reason I even mention it is in the hope that the people in charge can continue the trend of being really incredibly good.
