Came for our anniversary dinner. Was not disappointed. The portions are large. Really enjoyed the mussels marinara, the seafood lasagna was rich & tasty, burrata was good, nothing special, hubby enjoyed his chicken alfredo, we didn’t have any room for tiramisu… Our server seemed busy with a party of 12 and her other 2 tables. She was friendly, but didn’t go into any detail when asked for a recommendation between two dishes.

Cozy atmosphere with good tasting authentic Italian food. Went here for date night with my wife, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he took the time to get to know us. We ordered the fried mozzarella that came with a pesto aioli, and we absolutely loved both. Wish we could’ve taken some pesto aioli home with us. We also ordered the ceasar salad, which was nothing great or special. For our entrées we got the shrimp and scallop diavolo, as well as the tortellini, and it was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere, the service and friendly staff. The owner even brought us a glass a of Moscato to toast to my upcoming trip to Italy, I thought that was so kind! The food was hands down some of the best Italian cuisine I’ve had. A must try when your in Fernandina.

12 thumbs way up from us! Excellent real Italian food. We didn’t have a reservation but they squeezed us in anyway and it was worth the walk!

Would not recommend this place. Food was delicious. That’s true. Service was horrible. Asked for bread when we ordered our drinks and appetizers. Asked again when drinks delivered. Asked again when appetizer’s delivered. When appetizers were done, asked if they were out of bread. Finally got it. Drinks were poor. Old fashioned was weak. Manhattan was almost all vermouth. Waited with empty drinks for 20 minutes. Finally had to go to host to get a second round. Very loud. Lady next to us had to ask multiple times for vinegar and oil for her bread. Finally got it from host. She had to go to the bar for a water refill after asking multiple times. She had to ask another server to take the payment. Apparently that server handed it to our server who never returned the card or receipt for signing. When asked, our server argued with the lady saying she returned it, but it wasn’t signed. Then why was the card still with it? Other couple next to us waited 25 minutes for waitress to pick up their credit card. Host tried to make it up to us with free dessert, but we were done. I don’t usually complain (read my past reviews) unless things are really bad. This was really bad.

Our first time at Ciao (we are from NC). Everyone was so attentive. They immediately got us a table. Rachel was so friendly and patient (my sweetie takes a while to decide what he wants to eat, drink, etc). We had the pleasure of meeting Luca. He was so kind and checked in on us. The drinks, wine, food, and dessert were just excellent. It’s such a great feeling to meet folks that actually care about the dinning experience. We’re a little bummed we didn’t get to say good bye and thanks to Luca. We will go back for sure!

While the service wasn’t perfect, the food was exceptional with generous portions for the price and quality, and we had a great time. I first tried the mojito, but as expected a mojito at an Italian restaurant wasn’t fantastic. The house-made sangria was much better, and I would highly recommend it.

Our favorite meal in Amelia Island! Excellent service, the gnocchi and seafood lasagna were great, and I loved the chocolate mousse. Great for date night, it’s on or near Front St. so there are things to do nearby.

Easy to make reservation online, sat immediately upon arrival, ordered tasty drinks and pasta dishes-rigatoni was spectacular. John, our server, was hustling the night away and very attentive. Great dinner spot-I’d suggest to always make a reservation-they stay busy!

Overall experience was lovely. They seemed understaffed and some of the food didn’t quite hit the mark. Recommend the fried mozzarella and lobster ravioli. Skip the meatballs.
