Great menu, staff very friendly and on point. Checking in and making sure everything is ok. Food is so tasty and fresh. Chips and salsa are really good too. Salsa has a little kick to it too!

It was so good. Portions for price are kind of small, it’s kind of worth it though. Huge menu! I don’t eat seafood, but my friends were impressed with the offerings. The drinks are unique & delicious. The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. I’ll be back! Thank you for the great service!

We were super excited to try Esmeralda’s. We went on Cinco De Mayo and maybe that was the issue. I never ate here when it was Acapulco but my wife said the decor hasn’t change. It was nice and clean. It was a short wait which was what we expected. We were seated. We were brought chips and salsa and the servers thumb was a full knuckle deep in our salsa so I wasn’t trying it. Wife said it was good with a little spice. We started off with cheese dip with jalapeños. It came quickly but no chips. So it sat for a long time. The server came to our table and asked if we liked it. I had to tell him we didn’t get any chips. He took it back and awhile later a new cheese with chips came out. We also ordered the elote corn. I had to ask for this 3 times and it made it to our table the same time the check came. We shared the La Banderita enchiladas. This is 3 enchiladas, chicken with green sauce, beef with red sauce and cheese with cheese sauce. They were goodish. Nothing really different than any other Mexican restaurant. The sides were your standard beans and rice. We wanted to try something fun so we got the Torta. This is a Mexican sandwich with refried beans, lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise, cheese and your choice meat which were chorizo, ham, el pastor, steak, carnitas or tongue. We ordered it with chorizo no onion. It came out piled high with onions. When the server made it back I showed him all the onion. He had no problem getting us a new one. The chorizo lacked flavor. The concept of the sandwich is great but that bun could not hold up at all, soggy the moment it got to the table. And I didn’t taste any mayonnaise. The fries were cold and soggy. Tasted like yesterdays fries tossed in the microwave. Extremely disappointing but we gave it a try.

Excellent service here. Very friendly workers and fast. The chips and salsa was great, especially the salsa had a spicy kick probably my new favorite around the area. The food was very good as well seemed a little more authentic than the other local Mexican restaurants. The Margherita was ok a little too sweet for me but most are.

This is a really great place overall. Their food is absolutely great! The staff are very welcoming and very attentive, more than most places. We had the carne asada, and the chicken enchiladas, both were very great! The salsa is actually something I can really appreciate, it’s better than most too.

Been wanting to stop in after we heard they took over the old Acapulco site. Decor has pretty much remained the same. Still also have great bargain on my favorite Dos Equis Amber on tap with the huge frosted mug and lime wedge….ahhh! Appetizer Cheese Sauce isn’t quite as good. Lacking the tang and cheesiness of it’s predecessor. However, the salsa is excellent with an unexpected spiciness. Service is extremely attentive and very polished. The Parrillada Mexicanas Fajitas for two with steak, jumbo shrimp, tender pork, chicken, and chorizo was very colorful and well done. Quite a bargain at thirty bucks given the variety and serving size. Was more than enough for two! Great sear on the meats and a teriyaki style sauce. Our shrimp were cooked perfectly. Companion’s were just slightly overdone. Good to see there were no tails on them. Much easier to eat that way! The side dishes were also delicious. Rice was well seasoned and pico was very fresh and herbaceous with just enough heat. Tortillas were soft, fresh, and very hot. Interesting to see tableside made guacamole on the menu. Thought the ala carte version tasted geat but, we like it a little chunkier and seemed a little pricy for the amount. Several other surprises on the menu. Can’t wait to come back and try them. Very well done!

The service here is absolutely excellent. The food is servicable and at a decent price. I wrote my check wrong which I am pretty sure resulted in my waiter not getting a tip even though he absolutely deserved it! Shoutout to the staff here. Also, thr fajitas look amazing.

The food there is pretty good and affordable. Be sure to skip on any food that contains shredded meat. It isn’t good.
