Giant shrimp in Po-Boy could taste shrimp & was not rubbery, fresh fries. Fresh tasting chicken fried chicken was moist n delish!!! and Mac n cheese creamy, loved the oakar was not dry!!, gooood Big portions, worth it!!!/8-3/23 Awesome deals last days awesome staff, very clean, food cooked perfect, will miss you!!!

You had to fight to get the crawfish out the shell and I had to send them back. Ended with a loaded baked potato that had no butter, cheese and just a dab of sour cream. The waitress brought us more. The Boudain was really good.

The food is amazing! I love the boudin egg rolls and the fried alligator ( I always go right in and forget to take a picture!) they have great deals on crawfish weekly. Be prepared to wait on Friday and Saturday but believe me it’s so worth it!

No major complaints other than the crawfish was a bit soggy, small and sat in the pot too long. We had a party of 8, several got crawfish, others had shrimp, some enjoyed some grilled oysters but to top it off the beignets were awesome. My son had the chicken fried chicken, it must have been good as he devoured it. My nephew had a cheeseburger and it looked delicious as well. Service was on par, and the hot waitresses were of course a plus.

Our crawfish were seasoned perfectly, the spice was excellent. As for the oysters we expected chargrilled oysters but they had charbroiled, slightly different but they did a great job. The service was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, from the hostess to the bartender to our waitress. We haven’t experienced such great customer service like since moving to Texas last year. ALSO on Friday’s they have live music and it was pretty good!!!!

***Before reading the review, please see the owners response below. His response speaks volumes. It also means I am probably right. Their menu items likely consist of mostly frozen food that they heat up and serve. They probably create very little of their menu in house.***And Mark, no problem, I won’t go back.

Eh. Catfish and brisket were good, but the sides were just okay in my opinion. Brisket (lean) was exceptionally soft and tender and still had flavor despite no fat. Catfish was soft and the breading had a good flavor. Atmosphere is okay, but chilly under the vents that blow directly on you for about 2-3 minutes at a time. There’s a bar, which looked pretty full of options (I didn’t take part in it unfortunately). Service wasn’t great, but if you let them know about a birthday, they might sing to you and make the experience more interesting.
