My son recommended Happiness Chinese Restaurant. Ordered food to go. Decided to wait the 20 minutes in the lounge while our food cooked. Luckily there were 20+ golden aged patrons enjoying a fantastically hosted Karaoke session! We even had a live saxophone rendition of Tequila!

One of my Chinese friends strongly recommended this place to me for its authentic food. Taking his advice I dropped by one day to order out. I have to admit this is the best Chinese restaurant you can find in Spokane! It is the closest thing I could find to San Francisco style Chinese food. They use fresh ingredients in all their dishes without reusing cooking oil unlike most metropolitan places. The Seafood Tofu Soup, String Beans Beef, Honey Chicken, and Peking Spare Ribs are some of my personal favorites. They all have rich flavors without the grease that makes you feel sleepy after a meal. Their huge sizes are enough for at least 2 additional meals. Food does take a while to come out but the staff members are a joy to talk to. Carrie, the front desk lady, loves chatting with all of the customers as they wait in the sitting area. The family who runs this place are very sweet and friendly. I have had the pleasure of meeting the chefs, waiters, and waitresses. They are very accommodating and make sure you leave happy. 谢谢!

Came in and got 3 meals for myself my wife and my son. They brought these 3 meals out in a big box. There was enough food in there to feed atleast 6 people. The food was amazing and hot. I wont go anywhere else anymore. This place is amazing. And many choices to choose from. I love the crispy honey chicken.

When I tell you this is the BEST Chinese I’ve had in YEARS! The portions were insane! I had the Crispy Walnut Shrimp (they were the size of prawns and there was an entire plate full of them) as well as Pan Fried Noodles. My son had the small Chicken Lo Mein. His plate was ENORMOUS. It was $34.00 for ALL OF THIS FOOD. I have FULL big Styrofoam to go boxes of the leftovers.

We dined in and they were very busy, we were there 3 hours and we did order main courses and an appetizer. They brought out the soup first then the appetizer there was so much time in between and we were very hungry so no pics of the first two dishes. The last dishes are pictured. The food was phenomenal as usual for Chinese. We like the soup the least and weren’t estatic about the pot stickers they brought us as there were labeled as dumplings.

You guys need to figure out your cook times better! The food and prices are great but if you read the comments, there’s always people waiting way longer than the time given to pick it up. That’s been my overall experience as well.

The portions here are large! I ordered a two person dinner. We had food for three days and I was stuffed! It was really good. The staff was quick and really nice. I will have to take better pictures next time I go back and update you! Price was cheaper then most places too!
