Went into the restaurant on a Tuesday, restaurant was empty and there were 3 groups outside. So, we ordered a pie to go thinking it would be quick. One thin crust pie was the order, and we were told it would take 20-30 minutes! It’s absolutely unacceptable that an empty pizzeria can’t make a pepperoni pie happen in less than 5 minutes, let alone 20!

Maybe couple decades ago I was in Truckee and had an unforgettable pizza and I’ve been looking for it since but forgot the location. I ate at this joint and my search is over, unforgettable great taste. I tried vodka and meat lovers half and half. Unforgettable. Must go. The taste lingers at my nostrils, still.

5 Stars! We held our wedding reception there and it was an absolute blast. Not only was the private event well-staffed but the food and drinks served were top-notch. With indoor and outdoor options, it was the perfect location to kick off our wedding celebration. The owner Elise was even so kind as to send us off with a gift. We are so grateful for their contribution to our wedding weekend.

We ordered slices of the Sicilian pizza to go and garlic knots. The garlic knots were hot, garlicky, and delicious. The pizza was lukewarm and undercooked…the crust wasn’t even brown on the bottom. It may be better to eat in the restaurant so that they’re able to correct any problems.

Drinks were delicious but the pizza was somehow watery. We did the single slice Sicilian. My crust was burnt. The dough on the garlic knots and the pizza was dry. Service was amazing!

Food was great and service was great. But automatically adding a 20% gratuity for a party of 1 is ridiculous. I would have left more than that as I usually do for good service, but it’s no longer a gratuity when they automatically charge it.

Calling this ‘Best Pies’ is a long shot. Unfortunately I would say that this was some of the least impressive pizza I’ve ever had. Thin crust was akin to a cracker in texture, the pizza sauce was very basic and lacked character, and the toppings were minimal.

This place was a disappointment. I placed my order over the phone for 14 pizzas, 5 boxes of garlic knots and a meatball calzone without cheese. The lady I talked to over the phone gave me the total over the phone. When I went to pick up my order she told me the total but it was $85 more then what she told me because of a automatic 20% gratuity. I get it, they had a big order to make but she should have told me the correct amount. Not only that, the calzone had no sauce. When I specifically said and the receipt said no cheese just Meatballs and sauce. And half the garlic knots we’re just a baked ball of dough with nothing on it. And I randomly got charged for a salad.
