I ordered 16 shrimp. The shrimp was awesome. However, the staff didn’t tell me they were out of cocktail sauce. Most of the time, the service is so, so. The food is generally fresh and good to eat. The staff can vary from awesome to sorry to ask you to take my order. Please don’t hit me.

Extremely expensive for what you get. I like to get A&W every so often. Since this is the closest one to me, I have been here a few tunes when going through the area. I got food since I couldn’t justify the insane price for just just the float ($4 mike than a similar drink for some soft serve to be added). By getting a meal it was ‘just’ a $2 add on. I would recommend eating there so you can refill the float with the tap. The foid was mediocre at best but insanely price fir what you get. Employees were not pleasant & clearlydidn’t want to be there. I was made to ferrel like I should be grateful that I got to give them my money.

The speed at which I see them fill my order every single time is very good and consistent. Always friendly, and the food always tastes the same no matter what. And the fact that it is tied into a gas station is hardly even noticeable at all also. And that makes for a better dining experience.

They were short staffed and it showed. Owner must do something. Restaurant was filthy, drink was horrible. Hundreds of flies. AND they wouldn’t make the root beer shake I went in there for. IF I stop again and my favorite shake is not available or the place is that dirty I will not go back.

This place needs an update… both in the restaurant and the gas station.

despite the long line, our order was taken and completed quickly and with a smile. counter guy had a great attitude and though the restaurants was filling up quick he kept it moving and was very friendly.

I think its very weird when people give this place anything less then 4 stars. Its expensive because its a chain restaurant which $4 for a root beer float is not expensive at all. You need to go to McDonald’s and look at their prices. This place is amazing and I hope they stay open forever, we need more a&w in wyoming!

04-05-18 Excellent bacon cheeseburger. Fries good too. Best of all I discovered this location makes…. ” Makes” their root beer on site. Wow. Food not know that. Friendly staff. Knowledge, lots of sitting space and a good amount of truck parking. Very nice truck stop as well.

This A &W is needing updates just like the Sinclair it’s attached too. The food was ateabl but the hamburger was extremely over cooked. The pop Machen had some crusty stuff running down the side of it. As we finished our meal and walked out my husband said he no longer wanted to stop there. And we have been stopping there the last 5 years 2 or 3 times a year. Hopefully they will do something about this soon.

This is the first time in nearly a year that I have been able to stop at an A&W. Our closest one was in Pine Bluff Wy. Near the Nebraska state line. We definitely miss having one close to Cheyenne. Stop at the Wheatland location was a fun reminder of the same great food and sevice. We’ll try and make it there more often now that we have found this location.
