This is a great place to watch the sunset. Lots of tables inside and out. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! The grilled shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Great date night spot or out with friends. They have a full bar and an extension drink menu. The skinny margarita was just the right combination of alcohol and lime juice.

Went to Dead Fish Grill in Belton Texas with family and it was delicious. The view was spectacular over the lake. We had shrimp with grits and shrimp taco and both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered dessert which heaven. We would recommend to friends.

Lasting memories that will be timelessly captured as we sought the perfect place to get married. The event exceeded any expectation that could have been imagined. The staff complete with their very own planner, walked us through options that were offered. Very helpful and extremely patient as this day needed to be perfect. We were afforded an area to have the wedding outdoors in a beautiful courtyard overlooking the lake. We were then given an area to seat our guests to enjoy our meal together. The wait staff was attentive to our every need, we were left with no unfulfilled wants or desires. I would recommend anyone considering a venue for any event to allow the Dead Fish Grill to be the selection. 17 February 2023

Great food! We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. The food was full of flavor, came out to the table pretty quick and it was still HOT when it got to the table so we knew it was fresh. The food wasn’t overly expensive. & We even had a few drinks. Only thing is we sat outside for the water view but of course it was too dark to see. Will definitely be going back (but a bit earlier so we can actually see the water or watch the sun set).

Just moved to the area from Washington and was looking for a good comfort seafood restaurant. Wasn’t disappointed. I’m a fat a$$ are ordered a catfish bucket for myself. It was absolutely fire. I don’t like hush puppies. I do now. The fish was extremely tender and simple delicious. Wife got the lobster raviolis. That was the only down side. It was a small portion. Only 5 raviolis. But decent size. Was very good and actually was filling but just seemed small. Love that you can look out into the water. Not a ton of decorations inside (if that’s your thing). Overall I was very pleased and will definitely make DeadFish a weekly dinner.

The view is always beautiful here. Waitress was great and attentive. Food was good. Would get another star but the seasoning on the shrimp and grits wasn’t as good as the last time we were here.

It’s such a beautiful place to sit back, relax, enjoy your meal with family / friends, and a drink in your hand all while you have a view of the lake. The best time, in my opinion, is during sunset. Knowing this, it calls for a casual dress up for pictures with natural background.
