It was me and my fiance’s first time ever discovering this restaurant on adventure driving down the highway 160 by the river we found the sign and we wanted to check out the town of lucke glad we did been around since 1915 I asked the owner he told me a family has lived in the town so she decided to come here in the year 2000 I just thought it was very fascinating when you see the town it looks straight out of a western movie extremely old buildings are literally sideways the wood is all warped but somehow people still live there and the town is intact the day was built which I think is pretty cool there’s a bunch of mixed abandoned buildings in there makes it a little dangerous but all in all this the sight of the town is amazing the restaurant was really good the owner was very friendly all our dishes were very good and fresh the flavors were subtle but not overpowering like most Chinese food we really like that definitely recommend stopping at this place if you’re passing by or doing what we did stop being a little towns thank you for taking the time to read my short review

Even though you can’t eat inside they have outside tables. The food is always fresh and delicious. It’s a little pricey but hey? You won’t find better Asian food in a 20 mile radius.

Our first time visiting and we were very impressed with the service and quality. The egg drop soup had much more content (carrot, tofu, scallions) and flavor than one would expect. We also had chicken that was especially tasty and far exceeded our expectations of “chicken is, well, just chicken.” Vegetables in the dishes were fresh and crisp.

The food is delicious, staff is friendly and the location is casual in a historic town. you can take out or dine in this building right out of the 1800s. The food is all a cart family style portions they do not prepare combination plates like most Chinese restaurants. the menu has something to please everyone I highly recommend this place

Awesome… we got there at 4pm and a party of 9 was before us. She the waitress let us know it was going to be a few minutes before she got to us. Well we drove 45 minutes what’s another 10 minutes no biggie. The food was wonderful… Thank you…

After moving to neighboring Walnut Grove a couple of months ago, I’ve been obsessed with the tiny Delta town of Locke, which was founded by the Chinese after they left Walnut Grove following a 1915 fire that burned nearly the entire town down. Locke is a must-see destination with 100 year old buildings pretty much in their original state, and with some descendants of the original founders still living in town. I would guess that Locke Garden Restaurant is as old as the town, and just as funky. I was impressed with the delicious meals we enjoyed. The food is fresh and plentiful and tastes great. Take a road trip and go for the meal, and stay for the history lesson. Or make a day of it and check out neighboring Walnut Grove and Isleton, too!

Family owned, very old with a walk back to yesteryear. Always great fresh Chinese food,we’ve been coming to Locke Garden Restaurant for over 15 years. The little old town has lots of history. Worth the road trip and the walk through town.
