I wanted to try mole from a new restaurant, and since this pace name is Mole, I gave it a try. We were sitting a bit long before our server came around, and it was early, so not a lot of people were there. Once she got there, she did offer us the menu and drinks,

First time her. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty, they let you taste the different moles so you can decide which one you’d like better. The chocolate tamale dessert was great, not to sweet. Perfect ending to this meal.

What a wonderful place to eat!! I was there on a Saturday and they had live music while we ate. They make their own sauces. I have never had a bowl of chips served with 4 different sauces. The enchiladas were excellent!!! Wonderful staff and great atmosphere !! Highly recommended !!!

The food was great!! Everyone enjoyed what we ordered. The margaritas were just ok. The service was terribly slow. One person for inside and out. Fortunately we were talking and not in a hurry. The second set of drinks came after we were done eating. She just couldn’t get the orders right, or maybe that was the kitchen. My friend wanted her corn without chili pepper and it came with it. The same with my drink, but it was very mild. I would go again, because the food was much better than a place in Oak Park that specializes in mole. They had three types and I ordered the chocolate. As I said, it was fantastic. I’m surprised it wasn’t packed. But, perhaps the service is always bad.

I walked in to an awesome decorated restaurant and was confused about their seating. There was nobody available to seat us as I realized there were only 2 serves and they both had customers. When 1 was able to finally seat us (not a long wait, it was about 5min) we were seated at the very corner, I was not happy but decided it was the food I was there for. The server brought out 4 small bowls of what turned out to be 3 moles and 1 salsa and chips. The moles were good but nothing out of the ordinary that I’ve tasted elesewhere, the drinks were requested as was the food. We received our food and drinks and I was not impressed. Sadly, the moles that were brought out first as samples where the best part of my dinner experience. The servers would switch up and one would ask the same question the other one just had so I have to admit the service was amazing, always attentive and at the ready. My palate is probably too Mexican so the food was not what I was accustomed to in flavor but I did see other customers loving their dishes so it might just be my palate. It was very vibrant with good music for a weekday visit but I personally will not be returning as it is out of my way and I was just out to try something new.

The BEST Mexican food I have ever had. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. Tons of gluten free options as well (meaning corn tortillas are used). If you have celiac please know it’s not a dedicated gf kitchen so do what’s best for you. Otherwise such kind staff and the restaurant was spotless. New favorite place!

Great experience!!! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few months. My mom has never tried molé so tonight we decided to try this place out. We were given tastes of the different house molés with descriptions of each. Our server was incredibly helpful, informative, and insightful. The molés were very good and flavorful, as well as the salsas! I got the quesabirria because I’d never tried it and have always wanted to! So so good. My mom got the milanesa de res and she really liked it. We like this family owned business and will definitely be back. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and the food was great!!!
