3.5 stars – Fun experience and friendly chefs. The restaurant itself could use some improvement as it is a bit dated and was not very clean. As for the food, the portions were generous however everything was on the saltier side. I ordered the ribeye which came with 2 full steaks; the meat was tender but again, it was too salty. I also tried some of their scallops which were big in size but did not have any scallop flavour. As for how teppanyaki goes, the overall experience was just okay; nothing outstanding but also nothing really bad to say.

We’ve been here twice, both experiences were excellent. The food options are typical for this kind of steak house, and definitely satisfying. A great place to celebrate an anniversary or birthday with a few friends.

Food tasted good, service was ok but what I didn’t like was the cleanliness of this place. I went there at 3pm, the place was empty but it had so many tables dirty, the floors were even dirtier, it seems like they never vacuum this place. When the cooker came to our table, he used a very dirty cloth to clean the place where he was going to start cooking. Other think that I didn’t like was that the cooker was throwing food very bad to all the customers, someone in my table even said that he shouldn’t do that. It wasn’t funny at all. I wanted to leave but I was too shy to do it. I think this place have serious cleaning issues and I would not return again to this place.

Good atmosphere with a funny yet good chef (Ryan). You get a lot of food and get entertained throughout your meal. It was also super quick which was great especially when you arrive hungry!

Ordered scallop hibachi and steak hibachi with fried rice. The sharing fee is confusing AF like I just wanna order some food and if my kids want some I wanna split it with them. But sharing here is confusing as they charge you for sharing but also increase your portions. Salad dressing wasn’t that good and the soup was super salty (mushrooms tasted kinda raw too). Experience is good, the fire, onion volcano, throwing the egg in your mouth, etc. Kids got scared of the fire at first but ended up enjoying it. Taste was average as it’s just meat and vegetables with soy sauce. As with most hibachi places, come for the experience but not for flavor.

The service was really slow but they let us know they had some staffing issues and were doing the best they can. Once that was communicated we were much more understanding! Our chef was amazing! He was very funny and overall made our experience what it was. Our food was good too! I probably wouldnt come here on a hot day as the ac didnt seem like it was able to keep up with all the grills. I would recommend and come back again!

That I googled, this is the only hibachi spot in Seattle that has a table chef. Our dude was pretty funny and skilled. Good jokes, great personality. Audience kind of sucked. These audiences are only what you make them folks.

Absolutely the worst hibachi i’ve probably ever had in my life. They’re cooks don’t know the difference between a rare steak and a well done steak. Their yum yum sauce is disgusting worst i’ve ever had.. And the fact that they charge an additional $4.50 for fried rice is pathetic and makes them look cheap. I should have known by the sign on the door that said we are temporarily out of sushi obviously. It was because they failed to health inspection the smell of the place wasn’t that great either. One thing that we are definitely noticing in the Seattle Washington area. Is you just can’t trust the Google reviews anymore. This place had a 4.5 or higher rating which is a lie hands down a lie. This place isn’t even a 2 and their portion sizes are a joke for a hibachi style restaurant. After smelling the Ginger sauce I didn’t risk it. My girlfriend said it was the worst ginger sauce she had ever had. Either way we travel nurse and we travel all over and have had good experiences and bad one thing though. We do know good hibachi and good sushi when we have it. Do yourselves a favor don’t do like we did don’t do it? Don’t go mcdonald’s would be better seriously I cannot believe this place is still in business. However the one good thing I can say is I ask for just broccoli and carrots which they didn’t cook in front of me they cooked it. In the back and brought it out before he had even started cooking food so I got my vegetables for my main course before the main course had even arrived. To cook but the broccoli and carrots were cooked amazing best I ever had. Either way you have been warned. Do yourselves a favor taste their yum yum sauce before you even sit down. Before you waste your money because it will ruin the entire meal. If the yum yum sauce is off. The whole meal is f***** that’s just my opinion. We really really wanted this place to be good but as I said before you just cannot trust the reviews on Google anymore. And you might want to ask for 2 drinks because the service sucks. I would hate to see what they’re like when they’re actually busy there was only one table that was Being ate at and it was ours and it still sucked. Absolutely no excuses.

Mizu Steakhouse was a good experience. The cook was great and entertaining. The service was a little slow but pleasant. Food was delicious: tried the Tuna, Steak, Chicken, Scallops and Shrimp.
