Definitely worth a trip, you will really enjoy the ramen. The pork is incredibly tender, and if you’re like me you should order the extra noodles. You will need them. The only comment I have is that the bowl could be more full at the initial service.

Really good service! In the other hand, the build-your-own type menu is kindda odd for a ramen spot. Plates are rather dull in color and not very exciting. Every soup can be made vegetarian which is definitely a plus for the veggie eaters out there, on the other hand, the actual soup is not extremely tasty. The place has a very nice vibe and is visually very welcoming to the guest. Due to the nature of the menu, this ends up being a very expensive place for what it is, definitely not planning to spend that much.

Chuko is a nice restaurant in a Crown Heights corner in Atlantic Ave. The ambient is nice, with the open kitchen bringing the patrons more into the food experience. Decor could use and upgrade. Service was good and polite.

Chuko is my favorite place for ramen in Brooklyn. I love their sesame garlic ramen and their crispy Brussels snacks. I’ve been back multiple times. Their salt and pepper chicken is also delicious.

Great food. But if there’s even one loud table then the whole restaurant is listening to that conversation. Also, they now really nickel and dime you here. Instead of just raising the prices a couple bucks you have to manually add everything to the ramen order so it winds up costing you a whole lot more than it used to. I realize there’s been inflation but I feel like they went a little too far on prices.

I had the extremely rare opportunity to be in Brooklyn, near the Barclay’s Center on Thursday, 3/22/18 around lunchtime, so I took that opportunity to try someplace new. I googled “food near me” and “best food in Brooklyn” and both times Chuko came up. Its only a few minute walk from the Barclay’s so I decided to go check it out.

This is for the Chuko at Terminal C LaGuardia but I assume the two are similar. You have to sit and scan the QR code and order online. I didn’t know I had to ask for the roll to be cut and they didn’t add sesame seeds. I sent it back to be cut. The cucumber was so large and very hard it hurt my gums. I won’t be back.

Chuko is such a vibe with plenty of seating. Although it has a small menu, they have a wonderful option of ramens to choose from. We have chosen to get the Spicy Miso Ramen a try. The broth of blended miso paste, and chili peppers gave it a bold flavor that was both spicy and salty. The noodles were thin, curly, and tasty absorbing the flavors of the broth. The overall taste of spicy miso ramen is satisfying and warming.

Boy do I wish this restaurant had been here when I used to live in the apartment right above it years ago!! On second thought, I probably would have gone broke! Want great ramen? Look no further folks, this place is simply delicious! Their house made hot sauce is MAGICAL (trust me on this), the unassuming kale salad was extraordinary, the chili soy wings YUM!, and the kimchi ramen? Let’s just say that I can’t wait to eat it again and again and again. The shrimp and pork buns were good but not super memorable (definitely add the house-made hot sauce to elevate them) and the service was excellent. Overall a great experience close to home and a place I’ll be returning to more than once for sure.

Their ramen broth is on the thicker/creamier side! Served with Japanese roast pork instead of chasu. Minus stars for not serving an authentic style. Restaurant strikes me as a popular vegan/vegetarian joint!
