La Fuente is a terrific place to stop by for late night Mexican food if you get the munchies after dancing or having some other type of fun earlier in the evening. We walked in and were greeted by a worker who didn’t welcome us or say anything. He just walked to the register and waited for us to order. Not the friendliest by any means but maybe he was having a bad night.

Was given the wrong order via drive through. They were supposed to be fries which I paid also $16.

Ordered through door dash and found an entire fly in my birria consume glad I saw that first threw the whole meal away. Birria tacos didn’t look good anyway.

I don’t really know where to begin. I have been coming to La Fuente for over a decade and I haven’t had any problems until recently.

This place is good for your traditional Mexican food. The place is fairly clean and open seating for both indoors and outdoors. They have a salsa bar with a large variety of flavors. I have had some burritos here and they are always good.

I like the food here but the service is terrible, especially at night. The employees are generally just okay but sometimes they go out of their way to be extra rude. I’m pretty patient and I don’t typically leave negative reviews until I’ve had multiple bad experiences with a place. The prices are a little higher than other places and the slightly better quality isn’t worth dealing with the attitude of the employees. I would recommend Colimas over this place. It’s close, better food, similar prices, and less attitude.

Asked to buy two full burritos, with one green sauce inside. The counter and the cook said no to putting a salsa in a burrito. I walked right out, reviews are correct get out of Hillcrest.

The surf and turf fries are insanely good with everything made fresh to order right from the grill. And the amount of food you get is just plain good economics. Haven’t had a bad experience the multiple times I’ve visited. Check this place out while in town!

Delicious exquisite Tijuana street style tacos and food in the middle of Hillcrest. The perfect place for a late night snack. Nadia the cashie and hostess is super attentive and charismatic. David in the kitchen has the “sazon” you will be happy to have made it here after la fiesta. And the churros, the best in the northwest.
