Called to place a order. Could barely understand the person who answered, clearly not from the states. Took too long for him to tell me how long the delivery time would be. Quoted me one price for the order then when I questioned it, lowered the price (which was still wrong). After about 15 minutes of this I just cancelled the order. Then to top this off, I called to talk to the manager locally to make sure the order was cancelled, he offered NOTHING, just verified it was cancelled. They have absolutely lost our business. My advice is to pick another pizza place. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!!

We ordered pizza online at 3pm for 6pm. I called at 6:30 asking when my pizza was arriving. They said it was in the oven but would be more than 2 hours to get to my house. I asked how long for me to go to the store and pick it up and they said 5 minutes. I got to the store and waited 15 more minutes for my pizza to come out of the oven. Then they told me that my order was never in the oven. I will NEVER order from this Papa Johns again. Customer service, organization and general preparedness were terrible.

Unfortunately I have to give them a 2. I’ve never scored one that low. I ordered on line. 20 minutes later went to pick it up and it wasn’t even started. Was told they would start it right away but came back 30 minutes later and they STILL hadn’t started ally order (why would you make 3 of 5 pizzas for an order and not the whole thing). I understand they were busy, but they had a new person on the register during the peak time and it slowed things down tremendously. While I was there 2 people turned around and left without ordering, 1 brought back the pizza because it was wrong, and a customer called to complain about cold pizza delivered. I didn’t give them a 1 star because my order was right and was warm when I made it home. Management needs to work on structure a bit.

I left an earlier negative review and I am pleased to say that I am going to change that review. After receiving a few orders completely incorrect or poor quality, I shared my grievance. Within about two weeks, the Manager of the Papa John’s in Denison called me personally to apologize. He explained they were working hard on staff retraining and new hires, and he credited my account with a free large pizza. He was so sincere, that I placed a big order last week. The pizzas, cheesy bread and desserts were PERFECTION. The delivery was on time and friendly. Thank you for listening to your customers (I will start ordering from you regularly again). Thanks for the great ‘customer service come back’. You made us feel like valued customers again.
