We were driving through from North Carolina…absolutely friendly attentive service! The corn bread is so yummy. It’s a moist sweet corn bread. The crab cakes were very good…lots of lump crab. We got the crab dip for an appetizer, prime rib and crab cakes, and stuffed flounder. The ice cream was excellent! Everything tasted fabulous, the reason for the 4 stars…some of the items were just lukewarm. The owner came out to greet us and asked us how our food was…he was super friendly and you can genuinely tell that he cares about his customers experience! Will eat there again while in the area.

I can’t understand all the great reviews for this place. I got the “famous” crab cakes which had a hair in one of them. My daughter had the chicken, which was so burnt as to look blackened. My youngest son had the crab soup which tasted okay but was luke warm. The manager made it good and didn’t charge us for two of the meals, but we were very disappointed and will not be back.

Went to Peaky’s on my birthday. It was a great little spot for my 1st visit. I was very impressed. Food portions were large enough

Service was wonderful, Cory is great. Food would have been excellent if someone in the kitchen did not have such a HEAVY hand with the salt. My husband had the fried Oysters and loved them. Smith island cake for dessert was really good. Laid back atmosphere. Do not allow the little dive place next to a discount motel deterre you. Take a chance. I loved the potroast open faced sandwich, just scrape the salty gravy off.

The food probably deserves a 4.5 or 5. Six of us had breakfast with several different choices. However, The service was slow and nonchalant at best. A rating of 3 is generous.

Outstanding! The “Moist” Corn Bread is wonderful. The Crab Cakes are world class. The prime rib was very good, but a bit salty (too much sauce?). We have eaten at Peaky’s three times in the last year – twice in the last ten days, after discovering them last year. It is worth the extra time avoiding Washington/Baltimore and taking the Delmarva “short cut” and getting a chance to eat at Peaky’s. My only complaint was their stubborn refusal to share the recipe for the cornbread!

This restaurant is clean, has accommodating seating and the food is delicious. I wasn’t fond of the crab bisque because it is sweet but everything was high quality. We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch after church at the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church 22 E. Chesapeake Ave. Crisfield Md. Which delivered an awesome message about not giving up when we’ve been knocked down.

It didn’t look like much from the outside (maybe not even from the inside), but the food was quite good. I had some crabcakes, which were good and full of crab. Others at the table also got them and agreed. The crab bisque was a little on the sweet side but creamy and delicious. I didn’t sample anyone else’s food but we were a large group and everyone seemed happy with their meals.

This place is famous for their bathrooms not their crabcakes. The waitress was nice and attentive.

Normally we enjoy Peakys however our visit last night was extremely deplorable and we won’t be returning. At about 9pm we walked inside and sat at the bar directly in front of the bartender. She said nothing to us despite looking directly at us 3 times for the 5 minutes we were ignored so that she could finish her personal conversation with a coworker. She finally asked if we would like a drink. No warmth, no welcome, no introduction, acted like us being there was a bother to her. We finally got our drinks but wanted food as well. We waited another 5 minutes for her to ask us or offer a menu or something. Didn’t happen so we had to outright ask if we could order food, she said yes and threw 1 menu down for the both of us. We waited yet again for way longer than necessary to place our food order with her standing right in from of us on her phone deliberately ignoring us. Finally placed order and received our food. No plates were provided and the silverware was casually dropped onto the bar. We already decided we were going to finish our food and leave at that point due to the bad service, which was a good idea since not once during our meal were we asked if everything was fine or if we needed another drink or ketchup or anything. Now normally even with mediocre service we tip extremely well. No less than 50 buck tip kind of well. Not once have we ever not tipped…. The service was so bad and we felt so uncomfortable that we did not tip her. Walking outside to our vehicle she decided to come outside and scream (literally) at us that if we wanted better service we should tip. Our visit last night was the rudest and most unprofessional experience I have ever had anywhere and I will never visit your establishment again because of it.
