We arrived a little after 6:30 on a Saturday night and the parking lot was packed full. Drink orders were taken shortly after we sat down and our waitress came to take our order after about 10 minutes. Service was a little slow but they were short a waitress and had a party of 20 in their back room so completely understandable. Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were hands down some of the best I’ve eaten.

I have been here previously and the food was great. The food was once again great. But the waitress was horrible. She took our drink order. When she came back with 2 identical drinks, I told her one of them was wrong. And explained that he never has diet drinks. She looked at me and said that’s what he ordered. I looked at the menu, saw Mtn Dew and told her that’s what he drinks. She said she would talk to him when he returns to the table. He is hard of hearing, so it’s not always an easy conversation. Nonetheless when she returned back to the table, I told her to get him a Mtn Dew. When the bill came she charged us for 3 sodas…and they aren’t cheap. It was nearly $10 for 3 sodas. I wasn’t happy one bit. She was argumentative about the situation and then she charged us for her mistake. I took the extra charge out of her tip. I highly doubt we will ever return. You just don’t treat your customers that way.

First time here and I heard this place is under new management as of 2 months ago…..I ordered the Philly with steak, cheese balls with ranch, & a side salad with ranch & thought they were all very good! My husband got the prime rib as recommended by the waitress & yes it was good, but this time around, it was a little dry. We also tried the Ribeye & it was very juicy & flavorful, we would also get that again. 🙂

All you could eat catfish Friday night after 4;00 pm is what I ordered. With a salad, Texas toast and fries, the huge fish fillets were so much, I didn’t order more! Food was hot and great tasting! I went with 2 friends and will go back!!

Today was an awful dinner first us. Prime Rib for 3 of us was like it had been boiled and tough…definitely not a roasted prime rib. What an expense for this. Approx 80.00 for PRib. Baked potato and salad were awesome as well as service. FRAN WATTERSON

The food was great, but their menu prices are inaccurate. When I brought up the difference of a steak that was listed at 13.99 but I was charged 20.99, she only responded with the prices have just gone up. 7 dollars, which is 50 percent? Really? But I showed her the price on here with the menu price. Still, she did nothing and they did not honor the advertised price. Although the food was excellent. That kind of lack or accountability has left a nasty taste in my mouth about that restaurant. But I will give the cook some credit, the food was excellent.

Contacted them two days ago about reserving their meeting room for a birthday party for a group of 20, eating off the menu. Manager said she would call following day to ket me know if date was available. Never heard from her. Called back two days later and was told they would get the manager, phone was laid down on counter. Sat like that for 19 minutes and hung up. Will look for other options. Maybe they don’t need the business.
