Sunday, July 19th while in the Morgantown WV area decided to have dinner at Colasante’s Ristaurante and Pub. I went on their website to see what interested me and fell in love with a photo of their Stuffed Banana Peppers with Italian Sausage.

My new favorite restaurant to eat at in the Morgantown/Westover area! Huge onion rings and very fresh salad. Lasagna was the first one I have had in years and it was wonderful. My companion had chicken Parmesan with fries. Both excellent meals! We left a generous tip on the bill and also tipped the waitress, who was attentive.

Ordered large drinks, the garlic bread, bowl of the soup of the day (Italian Wedding Soup), a large extra cheese meatball and pepperoni pizza. It was a terrific selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially because their system of ordering at the counter and they deliver it to your table is confusing for some. I loved it and enjoyed the meal.

For a $15 salad, I’d expect there to be more “better” lettuce than rotten lettuce. The chicken was over cooked and tough, the lettuce was brown and slimy and rotten. I had a coworker pick up the salad and bring it back and reaching out to a colassnates has done nothing. Customer service is a -5⭐️.

First, but not last time we ate there. Had poppers, steak hoagie. One of the best hoagies I’ve had, and I love hoagies! Highly recommend a stop in or carry out. Worth your time.

Sorry folks, no pictures of the food. It was so good we ate, then I thought about pictures! My husband had the sausage calzone, I had the create your own pasta ( rigatoni and marinara). Both were delicious! Make no mistake that this is a sports themed restaurant. There are many TV’s to catch all the different games and one with news/ business.

Expect nothing like you imagine. I ordered the NY White speciality pizza expecting large clumps of ricotta and actual sliced tomatoes. Instead, we get this flimsy pizza with diced tomatoes, NO RICOTTA and spent nearly double what a cheese pizza the same size would have costed. Will never be going back again. Save your money, go to Krogers and buy DiGiorno’s.

The food here is great. They have the best sauce. I usually get the calzone. The service is spectacular.

Took my lady friend there, as I’d never eaten there. We loved it. Good service. Fair price. GREAT food, with large portions. We shared a calzone (Excellent) and the Penne Italiano (Outstanding – just get it). Had more than enough to bring home. Definitely homestyle, authentic Italian fare. Absolutely will be back, especially for takeout since it’s probably less than a half mile from the house and I pass by every day.

No doubt a sports bar … thankfully a Steelers venue. Great calzone, sauce very good. Taste & texture indicates house pasta, but not sure.
