This place has gone down hill majorly. The food is awful, bad portion, and if you get a sub, it is basically bread. Everyone there clearly doesn’t want to be there. The customer service is awful. The ONLY good thing in my last experience was a boy, I believe his name was Matt. He went out of his way to make sure things were remade correctly, even though he didn’t make the food to begin with. He had good customer service, was the only one who apologized for the screw ups and actually cares about the job. Give that boy a raise!!!!!!

Visiting from an hour away to buy a new car. Saw the Sandwich Factory and decided to eat here out of a million other choices in the area. Ordered our food, tipped the workers jar and had a seat. Our ribeye subs and onion rings were done pretty quickly. The worker handed our food to us in a bag. My husband reminded him that when he asked, “For here or to go?” he said for here. The worker told him we’re closing now. I checked my watch. 5:55pm and the sign clearly states 6:30. So, now we’re taking our hot subs and onion rings for an hour drive home. That should be an enjoyable soggy cold mess. What did I even tip for? To be kicked out?? Terrible service on their part.

I recently went to this location and was excited thinking that they would have the best sandwiches around. Boy, was I wrong. My friend is a vegetarian and ordered an egg salad sub, and she said there literally was no egg on it it was all mayonnaise and lettuce. She took it up to show the manager, and he just looked at her and said, “it’s fine, it’s got egg in it. I made it myself. ” She proceeded to show him the inside of her Sub and said she tasted it and it did not taste like there was any egg in it and he just kind of rolled her his eyes at her. I looked at it, and if there were eggs in the mixture, there was very little because there was no texture at all to whateve mayonnaise mixture they put on her sub. Sub was over $10, so she was definitely disappointed. I was very disappointed in the way that the staff handled the situation.

Best sub shop in the city by a mile. The sandwiches are HUGE, yet all the toppings are balanced. Not a night that’s just bread and no fixings. And the bread is always fresh and delicious.

The soda machine was broken and I so wanted a cherry soda! The visit before that, my drink was red and carbonated but no flavour. I ended up dumping it. But the subs are ALWAYS delicious and exactly as ordered.

I always loved sandwich factory. They were always nice and the food was delightful. We came to get some ruebens and fries for st Patrick’s day. They must have had a very off day that day. The workers were not very friendly. The food was terrible. The sandwich was all bread and very little meat. The sandwich was so thin all I saw was bread ! The French fries were undercooked. Terrible

“The best sub place in Youngstown!” Was my old review. This place has really went downhill. I’ve been coming here over 20 years, and the service and food has become very mainstream, the extra meat ribeye sub had like 4 pieces of meat, when we called to tell them they forgot extra meat, they said there was nothing they can do. Sandwich factory? more like ripoff factory. You guys lost our business.
