This place use to be top notch but not anymore. Call in an order at 6:09pm. They said 15 to 20 minutes. Didnt get my order until 6:52pm. Everyone that entered the restaurant after me all had their in less than 15 minutes. Deleting this place from my contacts.

Flavor was not there for the fried rice and they gave us something other than hofen which is what we ordered. Only thing that’s alright tasting is the wonton soup. Extremely disappointed. And on top of the flavor they didn’t start working on our order till we got there to pick it up at there pickup time. Go to Hop tung instead if you want good Asian food.

It’s honestly not good, i ordered tofu pad thai with “extra vegetables,” and the plate barely had any at all. I can just imagine without the “extra”. The server only came to check on me once AFTER I had finished. I finished my can soda and it’s fine if you don’t do refills, but at least offer me some water. .

LeLai is a wonderful Asian restaurant. We visited the establishment 3 times now and have never been disappointed. The menu is extensive, and the quality and taste of the food is top-notch. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient. LeLai is a must try when you are in McAllen.
