If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine in Columbus, look no further than Daawat Indian Bistro. This restaurant consistently exceeds expectations with their incredible flavors and top-notch service. The portions are generous and priced reasonably. The naan breads are freshly baked in their clay tandoor oven and are the best I’ve had outside of India. They also have a great selection of Indian beers and wines to pair with your meal.

Best place for family with kids for Friday, Saturday, Sunday lunch buffet. All items were excellent in quality and taste with lots of variety and right amount of spice. Especially three types of biryani/pulav all of them being so tasty. All chicken starters and entree items are soft, juicy and tasty. Once I had a goat pulav here which was excellent and unforgettable. At the end the Deserts were also tasty. The staff is very polite and do their best. Overall we’d love to eat here regularly because of the high quality standard they maintain. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great taste, variety and spacious place with your friends and family.

I am changing my review as this is now opened with new name and new management. I have been to this restaurant recently since the name changed to Daawat. It’s not only name change it’s all the interior, chef and taste as well. I liked the interior colors and designs. I am being vegetarian tried some new vegetarian starter and they were amazing tasty. I liked the peanut in the cone – it’s masala peanut served in papad cone. The food tastes amazing. They do have bar if you want to enjoy drinks like beer, scotch and wine.

Daawat has the best Indian buffet in town. They keep changing menu every day and refill the trays real quick. The buffet includes everything from breakfast items to biryanis both veg and nonveg. The taste and quality is 5 star. The staff is very curteous and prompt at service. Kudos team Daawat!!

We had some chicken tikka masala and fish curry for dinner and ordered some extra butter naan online. The food was prepared and well-packed on time, and it remained hot as we arrived home. The restaurant is also clean and high-end, with a sports bar. We may try dine-in sometime. Highly recommend giving it a try. However, be careful if you see “spicy” on the menu; it is genuinely spicy lol

I recently been there for lunch two times, they charge $22 for lunch buffet, given the fact, the food they had on buffet, it was not at all worth of money. The cost was not justifiable.

This place has the best buffet in Columbus Ohio. Everything in the buffet is so fresh and tasty especially mysore bonda, methu vada and masala vada. Their soup is yummy and all their appetizers are delicious. Biriyani both veg and non veg are great. Dal with pappad is too good. Everyone should try this place at least once because then you will go there every weekend like us. Excellent place for Indian cuisine with good ambience which adds more value to your experience. Only missing item is rasam and curd rice.

The only reason they get two stars and not one because the food is good. Called for carryout, told 30-35 minutes, wait was one hour. No apology or anything at all. And the sweet lassie was mediocre.
