Ordered online, wasn’t ready when they said. Waited 10 extra minutes then they told me 10 more minutes… 45 minutes for some noodles and a sushi roll is unacceptable.

We got there at the end of the night, they still sat us. Had Hibachi & Sushi. Food was still very fresh even thouhg the sushi selection was limited due to the time. Staff had a great attitude. Will definitely go back. Rokbonki is my favorite place to go, and I will say still is but since I don’t live that way anylonger this place will do nicely

Great lunch specials, good prices. Just wish the teriyaki chicken wad grilled and not as dry. It tasted broiled or something, maybe cooked in a toaster oven… the sushi was prepared very well and super fresh

My wife and I went here on Saturday night. She is from Chicago and I am from Northshore suburbs. Finally a great sushi place in the gonk area!!!! We loved it. Jay who I’d behind the sushi bar is awesome. He made great rating sushi and paired it perfectly. I had spicy tuna hand rolls red dragon roll and some pieces of octopus and tuna and yellow tail. I am just do happy that finally a place knows how to offer great sushi out here. I can’t wait to go back and try the hibachi , those tables were full and the people looked like they were having the best time. We also had one drink each which were both pretty strong and those were very good tasting as well. If you like sushi you definitely need to go and sit at the sushi bar. We will be back !

Continued dissappointment! We live super close to this place and we want to have a good experience there, but we just haven’t. The sushi is good, not great, but sometimes we want to stay close to home and support local establishment. What we can’t deal with is the poor service we get. There is one older gentleman that is there sometimes that is great, but the rest of the staff could care less about you coming in. We actually left before we even put our order in because our waitress was only not attentive but rude when she did show up.
