Had to go to the cemetery today for Mother’s Day and all I wanted was Home Run Inn!!! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and the manager as well!!! Went above and beyond!!! Excellent pizza. The garlic butter crust is a must. The servers are always very pleasant. I always use the curbside pick-up, which is very helpful as I have mobility issues. Would have given 5 stars across the board but took one off because when using their scheduling option, they are always early. I mean, I guess early is better than late, but the last 4 times I’ve still been 15 minutes away and I get notice that my order is ready. Other than that little snafu I highly recommend. My dogs also love the “pizza bones” (crust).

A true chicago Classic! Perfect Sunday night dinner that easily fed our family of 7 with a great coupon deal. Basically recreated the chicken carbonara pizza and of course got a classic Chicago “ Pizza. Caesar salad had garbanzo beans which was unique.

Talked about stopping in for lunch at HRI. This location and menu is more like a fast food Zbarro, walk up, order and sit. Not the friendliest counter presence, but the dining area is very clean. A la carte items quickly adds up. A meal for 5 @ $78 gets you a 9″ 2-Topping, 12″ 2-Topping, order of Mozzarella sticks, 16 Boneless wings and a Kids meal. Appetizers were a hit, wings perfectly sauced, crunchy fries and stretchy mozzarella. Have to say was disappointed our topping choice, spinach looked frozen and pretty much was soggy. I’ve had much better and tastier $30 pizzas. The kids who normally devour their 9″ pizza said “we can make a better frozen one at home.” Yikes! I really wanted to like this, maybe it’s best to just grab a pre-made slice to go.

Made the mistake of ordering a pizza a hour ago close to closing and I received my pizza looking like this. Dough falling apart, greasy. Very sloppy job. If cooks are going to send orders out like this, the end time for placing orders should be sooner. This is ridiculous.
