DON’T go if you’re on a time crunch. Decided to take family here to grab some dinner before their evening flight out of town. Arrived right at 4:30, right when they opened to be the first people in the restaurant. We sat outside in an igloo which was a unique experience, although upon arrival the table was dirty and not wiped from the previous dining experience. Absolute biggest complaint was the wait staff and manager. We were the first people at the restaurant but after 1 hour and 30 minutes, all we had received were some basic drinks and 2 bowls of soup for a party of 4. There were at most 25 people at the restaurant, including a “large party”. Two other parties were served meals prior to us, but were seated after us. We informed our waitress that we needed to be done by a certain time to catch a flight. This was disregarded as the waitress continued to blame the kitchen, a “technical error”, and a large party in the main dining room. When asking to speak to a manager, she showed up in a short dress and fishnets, unprofessional and continued to try to sell us food that was “just a couple of more minutes”. Our waitress literally brought us to-go boxes before even brining our meals. We had boxes, but no food to put in them. An utter disappointment with extremely poor service, unorganized and lacking professionalism. There are a lot of better places to dine in Anchorage, save your money.

Went to the pub in our hotel for drinks at the end of our time in Anchorage. Tyrese, our server, was a dear despite difficult circumstances. I’d not recommend going here unless, like us, fate forces your hand. Neither bar nor restaurant was busy late on a Sunday evening. However, it took 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. Cocktails were not well made. One mixed drink (d&s) had no alcohol, a charge which the bartender first hotly denied then relented and offered to ‘top off’ the drink. Bitters and lime juice does not make a good drink as there wasn’t any ginger beer in there either. No thank you. Hopefully your experience will be better. There are awards on the wall for this restaurant. Perhaps the missing element for a good ‘pub’ experience will be rediscovered by the time you arrive.

We loved our visit. We sat inside on the lounge side and enjoyed the live music. Friday evening features a jazz trio that is really great. The server we had was the best. The food was good, and it ranks as an all-around favorite for me now. It’s just the right casual all-around relaxing vibe.

Great pub food with a classier touch. I played it safe and ordered the burger. I requested that it be cooked medium. When I got the burger it was more medium well done. My wife order the garden linguini. She enjoyed it. We also ordered the crab Mac and cheese and the seafood risotto. Unfortunately my older teenage son order the risotto. Unfortunate because it was a very small portion. Luckily the crab Mac and cheese we ordered for my 5 year old was a large portion. We gave the leftovers to my son. Overall we would eat here again. Food was flavorful the atmosphere in the igloos was fun and different.

Just finish Brunch, and wow I don’t know if its the food or my wife and I agreeing that it is great. I personally am not a fan of rosemary on my food, most often it’s over done with rosemary covering the true flavor of the food but here the Rosemary potatoes were perfect as was the rest of the food and serving size.

My fiance and I ate here for the very first time in the igloos. The service was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. The setting was the best part! We got to eat without masks because of the “bubble”. The lights were cool and the heaters kept the igloo super warm! The food was good, but the Blue Hawaii was the best I’ve ever had. If you can get in with a reservation, I recommend it! I can’t think of a better Covid date place.

Food is not the strong suit here. Pasta was terribly dry, so I sent it back. Ask for a medium cooked hamburger with fries. When I got the burger, it was mostly raw meat. I had to ask the waiter to microwave the burger so I could eat some of it. Very unimpressed with the food and would not eat here again. The bar staff was nice but very busy as he was short staffed.

I’ve only been here for drinks so can’t speak about the food. I can tell you that Elise, who was tending bar last time I went was wonderful. She was super personable, friendly and made a delicious cocktail. All of the staff we interacted with outside were great but Elise was the tops! I’ll be back just for her.

Very cool atmosphere. Igloo set up is lighted, had heat or cool air, and affords privacy for our party. Great food. Our server was very efficient and friendly.
