Went here with friends. Very busy place, and we were seated right away. A good variety of items on the menu, including all-day breakfast. They had liver and onions as one of the items; a favorite of mine, it was great. We all enjoyed our lunch. Will come back again.

Let me start by saying I’m not a very picky eater at all. The entire experience was great, service was fast and attentive, food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. Based on price alone id recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy diner experience.

I am rateing Georgia’s cafe solely on the double cheeseburger. I’m trying to find the best cheeseburger in Lubbock. So far, I would have to say that George’s cafe has my highest rating at 9.5. This was the 1st cheeseburger that I’ve tried in town (that is not a big national chain) that had juice to it it wasn’t dry. Now I like all the fixings on my cheeseburger, and they were technically there, though I like more lettuce and thicker slice of tomato. The french fries were good as well. So, of all the Non national chain Burger joints in town so far, I’ve only been to 5. This is the best.

An absolute surprise! The sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious! The best breakfast I’ve had in a restaurant in years. I had eggs sunny side up, bacon, and home fries! It was as if I went back in time to my grandparents cafe!!! I’m in love

The food is good but doesn’t make-up for the poor dining service. On two different times dining in, the waitress took our order and brought us the check. Never refilled our drinks or asked how the food was. That is simple stuff that goes a long way.

The food is always good. The issue is that the owner is so cheap that he will not turn on the heat on cold days. I should not have to keep my winter coat on inside while I’m eating because the owner wants to save a few bucks on his electric bill. The thermostat said it was 60 degrees in the restaurant. It is unfair that the staff should have to work like this and not even be allowed to wear a sweater (I asked). The poor waitress was freezing. Quit being cheap!

My only complaints are: they do NOT have BBQ sauce for chicken strips, and MOST IMPORTANTLY not everyone likes breakfast food so if you go before 11 AM, you wont have any choices but a $2 side of ham or bacon. I recommend this place after 11 AM only, and for a full menu (burger for breakfast) anytime with same great prices, go to Red Zone!!

Good home cookin is what you will get here. Menu is not overly large and they serve breakfast all day!! Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was hot, fresh and cooked to order. Nothing fancy, but good food

I love this place! We were able to dine out front, on the patio, with my little dog. Good, solid homestyle food for great prices, and very sweet waitresses!

Best breakfast in Lubbock. I tried lots of places that were disappointing before finally finding the best biscuits and gravy. Their cinnamon French toast is really good too. I always get just the French toast and meaty biscuits N gravy but my husband’s tried just about everything and has loved it all.
