The staff was attentive but our waitress forgot to put our steak order in resulting in an extra 20 minute or so wait for our entre. Our waitress apologized and gave us a free desert. Other than that our experience was great. Our steaks were high quality and prepared correctly. Our side dishes and salads were excellent. I love the dark wood and subdued lighting at Morton’s. I would definitely go there again.

Excellent steakhouse chain. It really doesn’t have a feel of a chain restaurant as the staff is very involved in the entire dining experience. The Cajun Ribeye was suggested and I too suggest it to all. It is not spicy or blackened as one might think by the name, but is tender and marinated in a rub for 48 hours. I would highly suggest this spot for any special occasion.

Was here for a corporate Christmas party and the food and service were superb. My meal included the filet mignon, a tender and juicy cut of beef. Scalloped potatoes and green beans were prepared with a light touch and were very flavorful. Basically, the traditional steakhouse experience but upscale.

My experience was sub par to say the least. The waiter was inattentive. The filet was cooked to the correct temperature but had absolutely no flavor. The only redeeming part of our experience was the dessert. I was wholly unimpressed and will certainly never return.

Comparing two very nice steakhouses, Bern’s in Tampa to this Morton’s, my experience leaves Morton’s looking more like a way overpriced truck stop with absurd decor. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you are looking for good steak and customer service in St. Louis, go to Kreis’ on Lindbergh.

Avoid Morton’s – the price point is way too high for the quality of food. Ordered steak & lobster tail – steak was cooked to order (mostly) but not the type of quality that you would enjoy at Ruth’s Chris right down the road. Poor sear and flavor void. Lobster tail held up the order, waitress told us that “the first one was not right” so we waited an additional 10-15 minutes for food to come out. Steak was luke warm b/c it had been sitting. Bottom line for us, we’ll spend just as much and genuinely enjoy our meal at a place like Kemoll’s/Ruth’s Chris in STL.
