Me and my boyfriend are big breakfast people, so we’ve been to our share of diners and cafes. Tastes like the recipes were passed down generations and to find out, they were! Felt so comforting and the staff was warm and welcoming and quick! Coffee was great too. Portions incredible. Support this women owned business! The owner was our waiter and we were told she bought it after her grandma owned it and it was under new owners for a while, and they’ve certainly raised the bar!!!

One word to describe the food at Gold Miners Cafe – “humongous “. The food portion is big!!! The menu is named after the staff and loyal patrons of the cafe. Loved their home style potatoes. Service is quick and friendly. Ambience is that of a small town’s mom and pop’s cafe. Most of the customers look like their regulars. Definitely a place to check out if you are visiting Folsom.

We adore this location! We were really in the mood for a satisfying restaurant breakfast while we were in town for work. This location met all of our requirements and then some. In a time when everything is becoming cookie-cutter “new and trendy,” it has managed to maintain the vibe of an old-fashioned restaurant. The customer service is really cordial and relaxed, almost as if they have known you for years. Additionally, the portions are HUGE. Very affordable and delicious. The biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, and eggs benedict are all top-notch.

We love this place! We’re in town for work and we were really in the mood for a good diner breakfast. This place checked all of our boxes and more. It has managed to retain an old-school diner feel in an age when everything is going cookie cutter “new and trendy.” The service is very friendly and casual, almost like they’ve known you for years. And the portions are MASSIVE. Such great value and extremely tasty. The chicken fried steak, eggs benedict, and biscuits and gravy are all excellent.

This place wasjumping! Completely packed to the gills! The staff was amazing and courteous! My coffee was always full and the food was delicious! Prices fall in line with all other restaurants in the area. Serving sizes were plentiful.
