The pickle boats are my FAVORITE! We also tried the bang bang shrimp, which was yummy. Our waitress followed up with us frequently, and Mike, the bartender, was amazing.

Have always loved the Hideaway for a couple decades. Today was the worst lunch service ever. While it was a Monday, and the server was pleasant, she basically avoided our table almost the whole 2 hours it took to just get a sandwich. We sat for at least 20-25 min and never got our drinks. I went inside to get them. Then I got my own waters. My friend went to the bar to get her own 2nd drink. A food runner brought our appetizer before our drinks. It was over an hour before the server even took our lunch order. I got up and found silverware for us and got my own to go container. I used to be a server so I have patience and understanding. And still tipped her 20% even though the only thing she did was take our order and bring out avocado that was forgotten, after we asked twice. I did all the serving. Won’t go back there for lunch. Hire more servers or have others help.

Lake was cool. Food was horrible not only for me but the rest of my family. Waitress was very kind and did the best she could but they obviously didn’t have enough staff to wait on customers. If you want to only drink I’d say that this would be a good spot for you but everything else made it not worth the visit.

We hosted a retirement party at Hideaway Bar and Grill and it was wonderful! Alexis was incredible to work with throughout planning, and the staff was very attentive to our group the day of. We heard nothing but great things about the food and staff from our party!

We come here every once in a while. We have always had great food! The last time we were here it was an unexpected nice day- so there was a lot of people on the patio. For just one waitress she did amazing- we had to wait a little but we were surprised how quick she was to wait on all the tables!! It has a small town local vibe which we enjoy!

My daughter and I wanted to try a place we hadn’t been before and by the water. She picked Hideaway. It was challenging to find but we did. All outside seating was taken so we went in to get a drink. It was busy but I was in front of a register with cash in hand. 2 girls and a guy were tending bar not a 1 greeted us or offered to wait on us. Tried to talk to them and they ignored me. We left and I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Lovely little spot on the water of Okauchee Lake. It’s a nice touch having a dock right off the patio so you can park your boat and walk right in. A couple cold beers and plenty of deep fried options really hit the spot after a day out on the water in the sun. Can’t go wrong with a burger here and the sweet potato fries are on point.

We ordered take out for the 2nd time on July 17th. We come via boat to enjoy food as we go around the lake. The 17th was problematic as there was no place to park the boat to run in and get out order. I tried calling, but no one answered. Ended up using someone’s private spot & thankfully wasn’t asked to move. All spots were taken up by people partying on their boat. Would be nice to have a spot just for pick up orders.
