Thursday August 22 at 8:00 pm my wife and I stopped by for dinner because we love Rudys brisket. There were 2 lady there we’re really nice.. The food was perfect but in the end the young cashier saw that we were grabbing some sauce and told us not to do it, that he was going to give us the sauces Togo .we wait he never came back so I went and asked I soon he so me he walked away ignored me. So asked for the sauce and told me no, because he already had it, it was very rude of him, after spending more than $90 dollars and dinner, I will not go to back to this place again.

Went here a couple of Sundays ago with a group after church. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is just fine, but we are just NOT a fan of Rudy’s ordering process, as you can’t just come in, look at the menu, and order an XX meat plate. You really don’t know how much all of what you order is going to add up to until it’s all together, as you have to tell them how much of what meat you want, pick out your sides separately, add the drinks and anything else, and THEN it all is totaled. You can easily pay way more than expected based on the meat cost alone.

Not your average Rudy’s with the huge menu and choice. This one feels more personal. The food is as always great. There are much less items on the menu but that’s fine. Their staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I would pick the Rudy’s over the others any day of the week.

Food was very upsetting. The brisket was dry and hard. The chopped tasted like it was drenched in barbecue sauce. No sauces out to choose from. Half of Fountain drinks are out: definitely a dying location.

Overpriced and dry brisket, don’t bother. Restaurant is nice but food is lackin. Seems like their briskets are over trimmed and over cooked. Once it gets room temp it turns into a brick unlike good quality brisket. Wish I took a picture

Very clean Rudy’s location. A Hill country classic establishment, just as good as the OG out in Leon Springs. Turkey is cooked to perfection! Sausage links are crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. You’re gonna need to order the cream corn by the pint, its delicious!

I love Rudy’s; I live close to this one, but its menu is just too limited — I’d be going there once a week if they just had baked potatoes like the one I by my old house in Houston, but there are barely any options at this one and if I am ordering for my whole family, it just doesn’t work out.
