Being 4th of July , not a lot of restaurants opened. I started getting hungry around 1:15pm but they closed at 2pm. I ordered pick up then came home with my food and it was as delicious as always. I was worried it would be done rushed and not taste right but on the contrary. Love having this place so close to my house, their food is amazing. I ordered the mofongo with carne frita.

Very affordable Puerto Rican cafe. My soup with a bottle of water was under 10 dollars. There’s plenty of tables but its order at the counter and I would recommend grab and go. Staff was very friendly and most patrons right now are speaking Spanish. There’s a nice relaxing Latin vibe here. Everything was very clean.

Our new go to spot!! Jibaro exceeded our expectations in every way. The device was incredible (thanks Tia!) and the food is amazing. We had empanadas, domplings, a tripleta sandwich, and the chicken in garlic with yellow rice. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

Although the food was good I had a very unpleasant experience. The people taking orders should be a little more attentive and informative. I told the clerk I didn’t eat meat prior to ordering and ordered a veggie option on the menu. She suggested the beans to me which I ordered and only after leaving and eating some did I notice they had meat in them. Apparently they put ham in the beans which shouldn’t have been suggested to me when I said I don’t eat meat before I ordered anything. I haven’t had pork in over 10 years needless to say I’m pretty disgusted.

My first time at Jibaro Latin Restaurant tonight and it is now on my top ten fave restaurants ever! Best authentic Puerto Rican food I’ve tasted outside of my family’s home! This is 100% worth the trip! The pernil and arroz con gandules were the best ever… The bread was amazing and the soncocho.. Mmm I cannot say enough!

First time getting food from Jibaro tonight & I will definitely order again! I decided on the Tripleta sandwich with everything on it. It tasted awesome!! Very delicious! Sandwich is very large so I will have enough for 2 lunches. I will definitely try other menu items. Great job!!

I ordered the potato which was supposed to come with broccoli. No broccoli. Everything was microwaved. The bacon bits were from a bag and were microwaved to a rubber that you couldn’t chew. The cheese sauce was canned. I ended up taking the entire meal home for the animals. I ate a few bites and it made me sick all day. All this for the cheap price of $15.00. Needless to say, I will never return, nor would I ever recommend this joke of a restaurant to anyone.

FLAVOR-TOWN as Guy says! I usually try a place a few times before I write a review, but I want to get the word out about this new family owned joint. Everything we tried had plentiful flavor, texture, and was cooked perfectly and skillfully with “that added ingredient” to take it over the top. Looking forward to trying the rest of the truly authentic menu.
