We moved to the area earlier this year & haven’t really explored all the restaurants just yet but came upon this after my wife gave birth & wanted her sushi fix after a long 9 months. We were seated right away on a Friday evening and the place was packed & vibe was amazing.

Aji Japanese Bistro was epically good! Not cheap, but great value. I’m a celiac (no gluten). They were knowledgeable, accommodating and had a special menu. It was somewhat limited, but extremely delicious. The cuts of fish were amazing. The spicy tuna roll (forget name) was so great. The chefs sashimi cuts were top notch. The salmon was so nice – cooked perfectly, crispy on the bottom, and well seasoned.

Beautiful view of the fountain and delicious food. We ordered rolls, ramen and miso soup, everything was perfect, especially fast service (about 10 min☺️). A cozy place looks like somewhere in Italy, quiet street, sidewalk and nice patio.

We have had incredible service both times we’ve been here. This restaurant is much more vegan friendly than others in the area. That being said, I’m really hopeful that in the coming years chefs and restaurants will expand their skills to include more plant-based options that don’t sacrifice on taste.
