We were guests of the Princess Lodge. We were put on a waiting list for a quick 15 minute wait and told we would receive a text when our table was ready. 35 minutes later, nothing. Staff said, oh were supposed to send a text! They sat us right away at that point. 30 minutes after ordering other guests asked about how long we had ordered and mentioned they were out of the soup i ordered. The waiter never said anthing. Then, 45 minutes after ordering, I was finally told they were out of the soup I ordered and had to order something else. 20 minutes later food arrived, and it was just ok. What a horrible experience!

This place was busy due to the tours, so service simply wasn’t great. I waited to be seated while others in line behind me were seated. Staff just stared at me. When I did get in the food was just ok. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Had no other options. Not pricey though.

Beautiful location that’s the most positive thing I can say. About 3 other families eating inside when we came in. We ordered to cocktails then picked our way through the buffet and finished our plates BEFORE our drinks arrived. The buffet main course food was mediocre not worth the $35 price tag. Rolls and desserts were for the most part stale, something dark brown unrecognizable, and dried out, day old consistency; non labeled.

Food was not edible, like we actually couldn’t choke it down. Ended up paying $40 a person without taking more than a couple bites per person in hopes of finding something on our plate that we could consume. The website states there is both a buffet and regular menu, this wasn’t the case, only a buffet was available. The restaurant was heavily over staffed, but everyone was standing around on their phones or playing games with serving trays. The buffet serve-ware was crusty and covered with old caked on food. The food itself looked like leftovers that had been sitting out in the sun for several days, many items were dangerously lukewarm likely to give you food poisoning. Even the soda was flat. We ended up ordering a pizza from DoorDash and sat in the outdoor patio instead. Highly recommend grabbing an Uber and eating offsite if you are stuck at this property for a land tour.
