Not good is the nicest thing I can say! We had beef and broccoli, shrimp egg foo young & chicken wings. The wings were ok. The egg foo young was brownish and greasy with no veggies or bean sprouts??? The rice was swimming in a very brown pasty gravy. I could taste the raw flour in it. The beef and broccoli had a gluey very dark brown sauce. This is literally the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We regularly order from Golden City III, but they are closed on Mondays, so we decided to try Golden Gate.

My first time trying this place even though it’s been around for yrs. I recently noticed that they opened up where Sun Wah uses to be. I was telling my mom as we rode pass, and she was like GOLDEN GATE!! I said yea, she said I wonder if it the same location that was out park place. I told her yea I think so. She said let’s go check it out. We ordered House Lomein and Shrimp Fried Rice. The things we order to test if we will return . We spoke with the lady and she confirmed that they are the same restaurant. She was nice and was happy that we stopped by. The food was on point takes me back too the Chinese joints I loved back in the day. They’re a little pricey for a joint, but l will definitely be back

More gravy than rice, was heavy and greasy on shrimp egg foo young. The cashier was rude. I keep my bank card locked until ready to use. She swiped so fast snatching it from my hand that it declined, I asked her to slow down, swipe again, and of course it approved. She had the nerve to say I cost her 75 cents swiping. Slow down lady and don’t snatch. Not a good greasy spoon and more like a hell’s gate experience.

The food is pretty good. Fried rice has some soy sauce already cooked into it but tastes great even though I don’t like soy sauce a ton. Had chicken pancit, general Tso’s chicken, and beef lo mein from here; all of them were contenders for the best I’ve had in their category. The food is good, and the person working the counter was very kind. I’ll definitely eat here again

Some people really be lying on here. I don’t know how you have the nerve to be so rude in public. I was there when that lady started yelling and causing a scene that day. The whole place was crowded too. How are you going to blame someone when you didn’t order correctly? Ms May can’t read your mind. You asked for an extra egg on your white rice, how is she supposed to know that you wanted scrambled eggs and not a fried egg? She was trying to be nice and fix it for you, but then you started screaming in her face. That’s shameful as hell. Some of y’all don’t have any manners. Don’t worry, Ms May, I gotcha back, you keep doing what you do. I will always support your business!
