As a native southerner now living in como I often crave soul food but have had trouble finding local offerings…until now. This is a FANTASTIC place and the food is 10/10. Flavorful, ample amount, non fussy—just really good classic southern cuisine. Service was great also. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting some impeccably made soul food or just looking to support local Black-owned businesses. ✊

I recently ordered the 2 piece fried catfish dinner with mac and cheese and fried okra and let me tell you….. it was delicious! The catfish was fried lightly seasoned and non greasy. The mac and cheese was easily one of the best I’ve ever had, including my own. The fried okra was perfectly seasoned and simply scrumptious. Well done Papadoo’s.

Finding it was the only hitch. maps took me to the donut shop at the end of the mall. It’s actually closer to the middle. The only sign is a leftover from a former restaurant and a logo on the door. Thank goodness there was a helpful woman outside to help me. Great food though. Now that I know where it is I’ll go back.

Friend & I went for the gumbo since they only serve it Friday nights. She had the fried cat fish, fries & mac & cheese side. Loved it all. The gumbo was ok. More andouli sausage than shrimp. Didn’t need the chicken in it. Huge portions in both meals. We both had leftovers. Served in to go containers when we thought we’d be dining in, with plastic ware. Didn’t have any water or tea. Just soda. Waitress did get me a bottled OJ. Ended up going to friends to eat with silverware & finish our visit. I’ll go back for the fish, and other foods that sound good. Definitely a “locals” fave.

If I could give this place 10 ⭐️ I would! I just went to Papadoos for the first time a few days ago. I got fish, potato salad, green beans and a side salad. You all do the one thing that I typically complain about with other restaurants in town….SEASON YOUR FOOD…to perfection might I add!

This place is SO GOOD! I got the smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese, and green beans. The pork chops were also on top of some rice, also came with a little corn bread muffin. Everything was so delicious! It’s so much food, great value. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

The food is on point! I enjoyed every bite of the chicken with rice and gravy plus the green beans. The portions are more than enough to fill me up and for a decent price. It did take 30 mins to get the food but the wait is worth every bite. Going to eat here every chance I get.
