Great atmosphere for a live band. Love the decor, drinks and food. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Same building as Ovation guitars!!! Awesome!!

The server was good she had the entire dining room by herself. The cooks were not good. We had drinks about 630 ordered food by 720 the waitress kept saying it was coming. At 900 we paid our tab and left food still not on table. This will be my last time there to eat. It’s basically a band stage with a restaurant attached.

A pleasant and very casual bar/restaurant. We went for drinks and music only. Sadly, the service was horrible. It took 25 minutes to get our first beer. The bar was so packed that we couldn’t squeeze in to order so we were forced to wait for the server.

Food was delicious! We had the Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese and one of the burgers. Given how spicy the Buffalo sauce was, I would love to try the wings next time. There was a live musical performer (Kerri Powers) in one room and the Packers game was on in the other.

Historical location! Old Ovation guitar factory! Friendly staff, great atmosphere! (Hidden away but WAZE took us there, go around the back.)

This place felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. It’s an old converted mill that sits on the Farmington River famous for it spectacular Trout fishing. We decided to sit in the bar/lounge area which has a sports (Boston) theme. Our host was friendly as it gets. Service was a little slow, which was fine as we weren’t in any hurry. Our burgers came on grinder rolls because they ran out of burger rolls. Burgers were good, but I prefer a regular burger roll. If they mentioned it before serving I would have picked something else. Minor things…we’ll go back for another try.

Jeff Pritchell was great..as was the whole band. Great endurance as they did 2 long sets on a very warm nite.

The bar is really beautiful and a nice place to chill. The music is 70s easy listening, which I have always hated with a vengeance (they said that everyone loves the music but some have had the same complaint). If I were to give a piece of advice, it would be to change the music to something with more energy and/or more atmosphere that appeals to everyone (the radio kept advertising Frank Sinatra on channel 7 and I really wanted it to change to ch 7, please please please). The only thing I hate more than 70s easy listening is jam bands. Anyway, the Irish nachos were really really good, the chili was also good, the shepherds pie, fish tacos, and fish and chips were mediocre. The shepherds pie didn’t have a roux and the mashed potatoes on top were not golden brown like they should be. The French fries were dry. Good beers on tap and bourbon/whiskey selection as well. Bar tender was super friendly, chairs were comfortable. My recommendation would be to come here for drinks and apps, sit in the bar, but bring discreet headphones or something.

Spent a truly enjoyable and relaxing Sunday afternoon at the Parrott Delaney Tavern. This is slightly off the beaten path, and, honestly, when I visited on a Sunday afternoon it looked like it might be closed. A friendly staff and a casual atmosphere lend the feeling of an Irish pub, as opposed to just an old bar, and although a football game was on the television, there were several interesting conversations. Good, simple pub fare is the specialty, with a great selection of beers on tap. An added bonus is to stroll through and view the guitar collection. Well worth taking the time to find and enjoy this fine pub.
