LOVED my first SLC experience. The wait staff were very attentive- with the perfect balance. The scone was melt in your mouth with an almost- southern pimento spread to go with it. The calamari were light and citrusy. I didn’t get pictures of the main course, but desert was beautiful and had fun textures and flavors. 5/5 stars for sure

My dad even made a joke about the decor saying he sees why there is broken plaster exposing the brick walls – bc customers were so mad at the food that they smashed things. Food wise I must say one word to describe it is: STRANGE…unappetizing flavors, weird textures (even the pasta had a funny bite and taste to it), heavy on capers for no reason and I could not say even one of our 6-dishes were any good. The menu is way too experimental and trying too hard to be something it’s not. Half our food was inedible because after one bite it just tasted awful. The drinks were okay – not a lot of flavor but a lot of ice. Definitely will not go here again when we visit SLC and would tell our friends and family to steer clear of this place.

Loved this little gem. First time there. Tasty mint julep. Duck breast was rich and delicious. The coriander past great too. Highlights were the grilled calamari and the artichoke quesadilla starters.

Cute spot with a creative menu and surprisingly delicious dishes. The okonomiyaki eggs benedict was awesome! Definitely coming back to try dinner next time I’m in town.

Great food. Very creative and tasty dishes. The menu changes quite a bit so there is quite a bit of variety. Excellent drinks. Love the vegetarian options. Very attentive staff. Since finding this place we have been there quite a bit. I would say every now and then we have a dish that’s not quite perfect but that’s more the exception- the variety and overall dining experience are worth it. I initially thought the cart option was quirky but now I wish it was everywhere.

This was our first time there and it was lovely! Upscale-but-comfy-casual atmosphere, incredible food, amazing service. The artichoke quesadilla was amazing (and I don’t typically like artichokes). We’ll be back!

Amazing ambiance. This restaurant was a full on experience. Dim sum carts provide the opportunity to view the appetizers prior to purchasing them. I had the calamari fried rice, NY strip, Apple cheesecake puff pastry and washed it all down with a Hot Toddy. The calamari fried rice was jam packed with flavor and the crunchy rice was a nice touch. The NY strip was cooked to perfection and was so tender. The smoked potatoes and broccolini were also delicious. The dessert was heavenly and the hot toddy was refreshing and perfect for the colder weather. Overall SLC Eatery gets 5 stars for me. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and it’s a great place to bring your friends or significant others. It’s on the pricier side and I splurged a bit after tipping I spent $100 total. For the price it was well worth it!
