The catfish and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Catfish had a great clean taste. Unfortunately, the two things that could be improved in my opinion are that the batter was way over salted, but the Cajun flavor was spot on, also the fries were a little limp. I could have used two Cajun tartars.

WOW this was yummy and I can’t wait to come back. FYI this place is takeout only but there are some benches/tables outside if weather permits! Pictures of seafood (catfish and shrimp) loaded baked potato with their homemade cheese sauce, and the banana pudding of my dreams. I thought the seafood was fried and seasoned to perfection, large portion and the cheese sauce was amazing. If you like banana pudding, this one will put a smile on your face. The “small” could easily be split for 2 people but you may not want to share. They put extra banana and nilla wafers on the top AND bottom. Check out their Facebook page for specials and extra menu items that aren’t posted at the window.

Wanted to give some props to Battles Kitchen for making some AWESOME food. We drove up from Mount Vernon to have our first experience with cajon inspired cuisine. The flavors were amazing! We ordered the seafood boil and the loaded potato. The homemade cheese sauce that’s on the potato is delicious. The sausage, potatoes, corn and shrimp with cajon butter in the seafood boil were top notch! Ernest and his crew make great food. Cant wait to go back!

first of all-the food is amazing, i recommend the seafood mac, cheesy without being too much, with enough seafood that you’re filled snd satisfied. also, i dont like pudding, but i recommend the banana pudding here to everyone! texture is better than any other pudding i have had and it was the perfect level of sweet

This seafood basket was SO good, so satisfying! Catfish and shrimp are well seasoned and had a nice crunch! The homemade tartar sauce was next level! I ordered the Mac n Cheese last time and it was a bit bland to be honest, but the seafood really makes up for it. Will be back again!

JUST finished my meal here about 5 minutes ago and it was PHENOMENAL! Customer service was next level and the food is outrageously good. The chicken tenders were breaded and seasoned perfectly and the sauce was like nothing I have had before. I will certainly be returning very soon.
