Truck driver here, I’ve been in different buffets in all the states. This is one of my favorites. First smell good and pretty quiet place. The food taste really good. The staff is very friendly. The only point to improve is the variety of food. They need to include more food. Anyway I recommend this place. Parking spots for big rigs just cross the street in front to Walmart.

We were passing through and needed to stop at Walmart. We were in our semi and were very pleased to find this area with ample parking and lots of choices of restaurants, We saw this place and thought we’d give it a try. We were very pleased with our choice. The buffet is very large with lots of variety. Sushi, stir fry, egg rolls, rice, fries, seafood, chicken wings, soups, desserts, ice cream and so much more! Reasonably priced at 13.99 per person. Service was great, our drinks stayed full. The only opportunity is the place could use an update and could be cleaner. We would definitely visit again if in town.

The food here are ok. Didn’t expect anything out of the ordinary as far as food goes. Sushi rice were dried and the portion of the meat selections were small… of course you don’t expect much from a buffet style restaurant. Service is above average and the atmosphere was decent.

I’ve been here several times due to work, and for some reason, I thought I wasn’t going to enjoy coming here again since it had been about two years since I had been here. Nothing couldn’t be further from the truth. I was actually thinking of another place I had a bad experience at but this place is great. Oh my gosh, my stay here was simply fantastic. I enjoyed the sushi and the hibachi. I couldn’t believe how filling that really was. I have a pretty healthy appetite, and I could only manage to eat a full plate of Hibachi before I was ready to tap out. I couldn’t complain. I walked away full and happy. My drink order frequently was refilled. My overall review is 5/5 stars. Feel free to take your family here after church to load up or for a family night out when everyone is tired of leftovers. You won’t regret it.

Wes was an amazing waiter. Every time that I come through North Platte I try to swing by King Buffet. This has been my favorite buffet for about 11 years now. I have traveled all across Nebraska and have always enjoyed coming here. I get the most joy when I can bring new people here and I finally got the experience to bring my wife and kids. We had just eaten the previous weekend at a buffet in Kearney with some friends and did not go over too well. I knew she would be nervous to try this one out but she loved it as well. ALWAYS GREAT SERVICE AND ALWAYS A WODE VARIETY OF GREAT ASIAN-AMERICAN DISHES. Will be back but I would recommend this Buffet to everyone. Just try it out.

The only good thing about the buffet was the Mongolian grill. The buffet dishes were sub par. Quite disappointing. Don’t know why so many people have given so many stars. I don’t think they have been to many buffets to be able to compare. I probably won’t be back.
