Blink, and you could actually miss them. Recently, I’ve been integrating plant based meals into my diet, and these guys hit the spot. Really, these guys exceeded the mark. Tasty, crispy, juicy FRESH. This walk-up is right on the sidewalk, so seating is minimal.

The Korean fried chicken sandwich absolutely did not disappoint. Have eaten fried chicken sandwiches at many many places, this one ranks among the top. The batter and crispiness was excellent. Not so much sauce that compromises the crisp. The bun was good. Meat was not dry.

I ordered the Cajun Fried Chicken sandwich. It looked great when it arrived at my table (as you can see from my photo). However, it was very difficult to eat and soon fell apart. The roll was too thin for the contents of the sandwich, and the breading on the fried chicken easily fell off when I started eating the sandwich. I did appreciate that it tasted fresh with the slaw, that the fried chicken wasn’t greasy, and that there was a minimal amount of sauce on the sandwich, so it didn’t get soggy. I also ordered fries that came with homemade ketchup – these were good, but it was pointed out to me that the fries were previously frozen.

Had the Cajun Fried Chicken Sando. Not super spicy but very well seasoned for the theme. The chicken is a very generous size which makes it a little awkward to eat but it’s the price to pay for a delicious sandwich. Super crunchy and the slaw didnt wet it down at all. Was pleasantly surprised with the chili fries as I hadn’t realized it was topped with vegan chili until i went back and read the menu, which I didn’t know was a thing at all. Absolutely no difference! I’m happy to know they have vegan options! Love the energy of the staff.
