On vacation with my kids and we stopped here for lunch after visiting some caves. You can smell the smoker on the drive. I got the brisket and sausage, both of my boys got the pulled pork. The food was delicious! My eldest son said “this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had”. Coming from a picky eater that means something. The brisket was smoked perfectly , juicy and tender. It did superb on its own but the house sauce definitely adds to it. You can really taste the apple and sweet in their sauce. The sausage is out of Alabama, also with the best Smokey flavor and tender. The pulled pork was so good my kids wanted seconds. The people there are great. I highly recommend Bad to the Bone and will definitely be back!

Nice shady outside seating; good ribs; limited sides that were not that great particularly the beans and potato salad; Cole slaw good; burnt ends were mostly fat; I wanted it to be great, but probably is a 3 to 4 star. Plenty of parking for a trailer or vehicle.

This was not where we planned to stop, but when we saw this place we knew we needed to try it. So glad we did!! The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful! Great people who know how to make some amazing bbq. I and one other guy had the Boss Hoss. It’s a man of a sandwich and so so good! Someone else got the nachos and another got the ribs. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. When we’re back in the area, we’ll stop here again. Loved it!

The service is good and the food is the bomb! I was on hold for a while trying to call my order in.. I finally hung up and ordered at the window which did not take long at all ..but what I loved, was that they actually called me back .. I explained that I went ahead and ordered at the window..so that was awesome

The flavors of the barbecue were great! My husband and I both got the two meat meal with two sides. The brisket was super tender almost to the point of being mushy though, so I don’t know how I feel about that. The sausage was great and the chicken was delicious. My only real complaint is that they only had potato salad, charro beans, and coleslaw as sides. They don’t have a dining room so it might be hard to enjoy on a hot day. But they do have tables with umbrellas.

Had a great first lunch, with our 3 basic (first order) items….brisket, sausage, and ribs and sides. All was tasty and very well done, sauce on the side with a flavor more similar to Texas sauce…..which was a pleasant surprise.
