I found the ramen to be rich and delicious. The lemon added a nice flavor. The booths have a private atmosphere. Metal chopsticks, fun arcade game at the front. Friendly staff.

Whenever I go to a new city I try to find ramen in the area. The ramen at Modu was probably the best bowl I ever had. It was one of the only times I didn’t feel the need to add any sauces, spices or oils to it because everything was so flavorful as it was. The chasu was delicious and had a lick of smoke to the flavor, the marinaded egg was delicious and the noodles were the perfect texture. I was also impressed that they are made fresh in house daily!!! All of it was delicious. I’ll be looking for another excuse to go to Jacksonville so I can return!

That is the best Shoyu in town. Flavorful pork was so tender and delicious. Came out piping hot. I ordered mild to be safe but medium to hot would have been better. Hubby got Curry ramen and it was just as delicious and flavorful. The chicken on top his his was crispy and yummy. The noodles were a tad over cooked to my liking, but it didn’t take away from the dish.

I went here for dinner. I got the tonkotsu ramen and the modu wings as an appetizer. The wings were crispy and had a nice sweet sauce on it. The broth of the ramen was deliciously rich, umami, and satisfying. The noodles were soft and paired excellent with the rich broth. The braised pork was also very tender and had a nice smoky flavor. It was my favorite part of the dish. The rest of the ramen toppings were great. I was quite satisfied overall with the quality and taste. I could definitely tell the chefs put special care into the dish. I would come back to try their other menu appetizer and ramen options in the future.

The food was good. My husband and I enjoyed the wings; sweet and crunchy. Our ramen was delicious but a bit salty; too much sodium. The atmosphere was quiet and the place wasn’t too busy. The server was polite attentive.

It was an absolute pleasure and surprise to blindly choose a ramen shop in an unusual city and end up here. Best bowl of ramen I’ve had in a long time, and I always seek ramen when I’m in a new city so I’ve had it all over. Every ingredient was made with care, and the excellent noodles are made in-house by a chef who trained in japan. The front of house guy who took care of us was very friendly as well. Just go!

I went here yesterday for dinner for the first time. Parking was a little difficult to find because it’s a shared parking lot, and it was a little busy in the parking lo as well. I decided to order a Tonkatsu dish. It was very good and flavorful. The bathrooms here are clean and the at is very good as well. I will return here again to try out their ramen.

Love the options for vegans! Recommend the vegetable goyzas (cannot have the sauce that comes with it, as it contains fish sauce. Ask for soy sauce instead). Loves my curry vegetable Ramen!
