Chicago Waffles West Loop is a great place for brunch. Diverse menu with well thought out ingredients. Returned for the Leige waffle and it did not disappoint. Waffle was crisp and the added sweetness from Nutella and fresh Strawberries was a perfect match. A few other berries and a dollop of whipped cream added to the delightful plate. The smoked salmon Omelette is not to be missed. A touch of cheese, onions and capers really round out the smoked salmon flavor. Need to remember to order on a bagel instead of the sourdough for a real hearty meal. A bottomless cup of coffee hit the spot. Full flavored, nice aroma and not at all bitter. Will have to try out Mimosa’s next time as the table across seemed to really enjoy them.

The service was good, the food came out super quick and I have to admit: really really good waffles. The menu is also significantly more extensive than you’d expect for a ‘waffle’ place, even including a decent list of cocktails, so whether your version of brunch is with or without mimosas, you’re good. The Madison branch is clearly very popular as it was very busy at Saturday morning brunch service. Recommended.

This place was an absolute delight. Everything we got was delicious! We had the waffle flight, chicken and waffles and banana waffles. To top it all off, they offer a pumpkin liqueur that we had added to our coffee that was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a delicious breakfast. Hopefully I’ll come back on my next trip out here.
