Ambience and service are really great here, but food is pretty bland to be honest.

This was the only place open after 9 pm in Point Arena. I personally loved the service and the atmosphere- it was excellent.

By far the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. Everything was so thoughtfully and carefully prepared. We tried a few different things from the menu and share them and everything was so delicious. They have an excellent sake selection. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and very welcoming. If you are ever in the neighborhood, it is a place you must try

What a pleasant surprise. I found this place on our way to Mendocino. I love how their salads are full of colors and flavors. Also we tried their duck skewers and it was quite delicious. Chicken Karaage was amazingly good with their kewpie sauce. Not to mention their service, which was excellent. They gave us warm handtowels before getting us the food and gave us recommendations on their menu. Highly recommend making a reservation before coming here since they are quite popular.

This place is the best. Phenomenal experience every time we dine here. I love that both the food and alcohol menu rotate and flow with the seasons. The staff is always kind, attentive and willing to answer any questions we have. We literally never eat anywhere else when we come to Point Arena. Hats of the Chef and his team!

Best Japanese food I’ve had in a very long time! This little restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We’ve been traveling down Highway one. The sightseeing has been great but the food was Soso until now. My wife and I really enjoyed the halibut and trout Sushimi. The miso soup was really tasty! We had several things on the menu but honestly the star of the show was the rice!!!! I don’t know what they did but that is the best rice I’ve ever had! We will come back again and I think you should too!

RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST. Space looks gorgeous and unexpected from other places in town. We didn’t actually get to eat here since they said reservations are a must and fully booked and no additional food to do take out. It looked and smelled delicious. It would be great for their website to state that reservations are required. They were super friendly staff though and tried to make reservations that were unfortunately all closed or sold out as well so plan accordingly if visiting!

My party of three came here on a Wednesday evening around 5. We did not have a reservation but we were put of waitlist and were seated in about 40 mins. Definitely make a reservation in advance if you can! Our server was Elyse and she was wonderful 🙂 She gave us great suggestions! We got the rice lager and “kid” sake to start. So tasty! We tried quite a few things from the food menu and enjoyed each item. Our favorites were the temarizushi, karaage, and duck breast. We can’t wait to come back. The service was warm, friendly, and amazing. Thank you for an experience we will always remember.
