New to Vermilion and trying Chinese restaurants in the area. I must say the Golden Crown is by far the best one yet! I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken combination with Hot & Sour Soup. I asked for the chicken to be spicy as other reviewers said it was mild. Mine came out just right with lots of tasty chicken and perfectly done veggies. The star of the meal was the Hit & Sour soup! Delicious! Most soups from the previous restaurants I’ve ordered from were very bland and some weren’t even recognizable as Hot & Sour soup, but this was just what it was supposed to be. Portion size for both were generous and was a good value for the money. My order was ready when I arrived and the staff was very friendly. I will make this one of my go to places in Vermilion and recommend it to all who crave good Chinese food!

I have been a long time patron 15 years, I order the same thing all the time cashew chicken with white rice and egg roll. This time I got fried rice which is OK, I called the owner to let her know but I should’ve waited and look at my whole meal, I also noticed that I only had about three pieces of chicken maybe eight piece of cashews and a whole lot of vegetables. My egg roll was covered in my meal’s sauce which I prefer to put duck sauce on my egg roll, which at that point I didn’t because of the amount of meal sauce all of my egg roll. I understand that things are expensive, but I wasn’t impressed with the shortage I noticed this time. Hopefully they will get their quality control back and present a better meal in the future.

First: the food. The Egg Foo Young had a different gravy than I’m used to, but it was pretty good. The Egg Roll was smaller than most (long and thin) and the first two bites were nothing but roll. Again, it was tasty. The shrimp chips tasted different than I’m used to. Didn’t taste like shrimp, but we’re good. Only about 12 chips for $2.00

People seem to like this place. I placed an order and there was a regular stream of people coming to pick up orders. The cashier was friendly and seemed to know all of these folks. So, they must be regular patrons.

I’m very disappointed. I spent 49 dollars on our dinners and a wonton soup and this is what I got. I use to come to u guys often but after this I won’t be. I get it was tired the end of the night but I’m upset and still hungry

DoorDasshed- We ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken, Honey Chicken, Teriyaki Stick (4 pc), Egg Roll, Won Ton Soup and Beef lomein- it all was thrown away, everything was way to salty, the sweet and sour sauce was extremely tangy and salty. For $65 I expected much better.

My family of six placed an order. And when we order we order a lot. When we got there they really hooked it up I thought it looked like they were catering a party. I was highly satisfied I even got home and made a Facebook post about it. when I opened everything up I realized we didn’t have our sweet and sour sauce. But I was so satisfied with how well the food was and how much they hooked it up then I didn’t even call them. about an hour and a half later I got a call from the restaurant saying they forgot my sweet and sour sauce and they wanted to bring it to me I explained that I live 25-30 minutes away and I was happy and they did not need to do that. They insisted they drove all the way to my house brought the sweet and sour and even hooked us up with some free egg rolls and sugar donuts.their food’s delicious and it’s some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 35 years!
