Fantastic food truck. I got the “Torta Mixta” and it was delicious, probably one of the best tortas I’ve ever had. There’s plenty of seating outside with umbrellas. My only complaint is they were playing music quite loudly.

Holy cow – this place is hands down the best food I’ve had at a food truck. This is a stationary truck with seating, umbrellas and a little bar area. We loved the music! We got the carnitas tacos and the birria quesadilla. The quesadilla is a must must must try. The flavor of the meat is unbelievable! Did I mention you need to try this!!?? The customer service was amazing and very helpful. We have told so many people about this place and will be back soon!

I’m from out of town, and I went to several different food trucks in this area while I was here. This place was by far the best. Absolutely delicious hot food, delicious salsas, even delicious guacamole. I had the asada quesadilla, which was cooked perfectly. The meat was charred nicely grilled to order, not very gristly. Tortilla on the quesadilla grilled perfectly still having some chew coming through the crisp edges. A true 10 out of 10 for the $8.50 I paid.

Gave El Viejón a try today and was delighted. I tried the chicken enchiladas dinner. They were very good and the chicken was very juicy. The rice and beans were amazing as well. Customer service was fantastic, very friendly. One of the best food trucks I have tried in the area. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.

The staff was friendly, the place looks clean and has a nice picnic area with music playing, the food was excellent and fresh! We enjoyed 4 tacos, a big & delicious burrito and one sope. The salsas were tasty too!

I had the trio of steak, pastor, & chicken tacos with rice and beans. It was so delicious and fresh. I would recommend anyone try their food. It’s quite good. I’ve added the menu as of 8/2022 because I couldn’t find an updated one online.

This food truck is a gem and I think everyone should eat here as we want to keep them in business. The tacos are the best I have had in Vancouver. About 6 or so different choices and all spelled out on board as to what is on them. Great location at Vice Brewing. So far we have tried tacos, burritos and friends had the special birria ramen. I wish I had tried that and I hope they have it again. Noodles and birria meat together. So good. Price feels right as well. Burritos are large for 12 dollars and we ordered that plus two tacos for 24. Comes with sides of salsa. Super friendly family run place. I will be back!!!
