If I could I’d give it ZERO stars I would. The very first time ever have gone it was great & Ray was a great cook! Last 3 times after that, it’s been awful. This time even the service & food was absolutely awful! Will not be back until they fix their cooks & wait staff. Even Waffle House isn’t this bad.

I had not been back to Simple Simon in a while but my most recent (May) visit was not as good as previous visits. I think they are short staffed in the kitchen, so although the waitstaff is good, the overall effect is a very long wait-time for the food… in my case on a Saturday morning about 45 minutes. The food is good, but until they get the kitchen situation under control I will probably go somewhere else.

Yikes on bikes I’m leaving a two star review. Went this morning. Not too busy. Wait staff were very friendly and why this didn’t a one star review. Ordered, got our drinks and then waited and waited and waited. Finally went to pay for our drinks. Waitress said not not worry about paying for them and she understood our frustration. Can’t review the food. Luckily we waited so long it was now lunchtime so we walked down to Sun King.

Our 1st visit 6 weeks ago…1 waitress. Great cook. We were lucky to get taken care of rather promptly due to no staff. Several customers left. Today, our 2nd visit. Three friendly waitresses, 1 VERY slow cook, terrible food! Over and done! Too bad so sad. Manager where ever you are…they need you there!! If you care.

A friend and I went to have breakfast about 10 AM on Friday morning. We went in and took a seat and had to wait about 10 minutes for a menu. There was one waitress working, and about seven parties seated some with food and some waiting. Every empty table, including the one at which we say it was still littered with the dirty dishes left by the people who ate earlier. We waited another 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. It never happened so we went somewhere else to eat.
