We’ve been coming up this way for the last year and finally got thr chance to come in to eat vs take out. We got the Smoked Prime Rib and the Full Rack Ribs….WOW! It was over the top delicious! and the price was great too!

Great food at a great price. Takes me back to growing up in a small, tiny Iowa town. Good home cooking but up a notch. They can cook seafood and I’m not at the coast!!!! This is my vets favorite restaurant and I’m glad his wife recommended it. Not a lot of options out in the middle of the country. Great service with caring, welcoming people. A popular local hangout. A must stop when traveling in the area.

We send all our vacation rental guests for lunch and dinner here from Equestrian House the past five years. Our Events Venue guests have also utilized the Red School House for their catering needs. Great food, service at a very affordable price.
